Served in a Tulip @ Surly Goat on 4/19/11.
Appearance - deep brownish red, with a nice white head and lacing on the glass.
Smell - wow, acidic, vinegar, oak, vanilla, cherries, alot going on here.
Taste - very sour, but not overpowering, I am really liking this one. Great barrel notes and nice subtle cherry.
Mouthfeel - smooth and very easy to drink.
Overall - great beer for a style I am really starting to appreciate. I would definately recommend seeking this one out.
Serving type: on-tap
