Strong hiss as the cap pops off; thankfully not a gusher. Slightly more orange-colored than a typical golden sour. Tons of thick, white head adorns my glass long after the liquid departs.
Aroma like WHOA! The intensely potent smell of sour lemons, wheat, raspberries, ripe pineapple, oak, funky yeast, and lactic acid overwhelms my senses. I want to reduce this to powder and snort a line of it every day.
Fruits and wheat base are apparent in the flavor profile. Raspberries take a back seat to the citrusy, acetic base. Wheat base provides fantastic body. Somehow, despite the ingredients list, this seems about what a BA Imperial American Gueuze would taste like. Strongly concentrated; not for the faint of heart.
I need more of this stuff right away.
