750 ml bottle, 2013 edition. 05/13/13 printed on the bottle, I assume that's the bottled on date. Served in a tulip, the beer pours dark brown/black with about a half inch tan head that fizzled away quickly. Not much lacing, either. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like tart cherries, dark fruit, roasted malt, and some vinegar. It tastes like tart cherries, dark fruit, vinegar, lemon peel, vinegar, and some roasted malt and blackberries. It's more of a sour brew than a stout, not that I'm complaining. Mouthfeel/body is medium, with low/moderate carbonation. I think it's a pretty good brew, I might have to pick up another bottle soon. $18.99 a bottle. It's pricey but tasty!
