2011 vintage. Poured from a 750 ml bottle into a Pipeworks snifter.
A- pours near black with a 1" tan head. Thick curtains and blotches of lacing coat the glass.
S- vinegar, sour mash, big sour cherry aroma!, some earthiness
T- vinegar, pale malts, sour mash, sour cherries and a faint chocolate, dark malt flavor.
M- medium body and carbonation. Fairly acidic which is normal for the style.
O- 7/10 sourness. Wow! A very surprising beer. Excellent sour, even tough the dark malts play a very small role in this beer.
