Served in a Boulevard tulip glass.

Given our shared love for old school rap, classic Golden State Warriors trios, and odd new beers, I had to share this one with VDubb. His reaction was similar to mine: "Cool name, but does it have to be an imperial pils?" Yeah... Anyway, this stuff pours a lightly-hazy brass topped by a finger or so of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises fresh non-flavored oatmeal, sweet corn, light wild rice, light sweet flowers, and a vague sense of greenery off in the distance, oasis-style. The taste brings in more of the same, along with a thankfully-mild-but-still-decidedly-perceptible vein of vinyl. The body is a light-leaning medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a generally fluid feel. Overall, one of the better imperial pilsners I've had, but still nothing I'd wanna go after again. Gotta love novelty, right?

This poured out as a hazy golden color with a fluffy white head. The lacing is nice there is a decent retention also. The smell of the beer is earthy and malty, subtly sweet. It smells nice for the style. The taste of the beer is malty and sweet. Not much hop bitterness but plenty of corn-like sweetness. The mouthfeel is nicely carbonated and medium bodied. Overall this is a pretty good brew.

pour is hazy orange amber and deep orange center with a bubbly thin white head leaving a decent lace. Nose is heavy grain with some stale cereal. A cream and citrus behind with a cardboard paper underneath. Taste is the same, paper and cream, grain is faint, light citrus, more zest and notes of coriander. Everything is slightly muted and a bit disintegrated.
Body is crisp, grainy, and highly carbonated.
