Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Scent is slightly sweet with inviting Belgian yeast aromas. Some grain and perfumes as well. Taste is light Belgian yeast with coriander. Light hoppiness and floral flavors. Mouthfeel is very light bodied and well carbonated. Drinkability is high. Overall, this is a good beer as far as Belgian blondes go.

Poured from a Bruery growler into two St. Bernardus goblets. Thanks to HeatherAnn for the assist. Extra special thanks to errantnight for the hook up!

A: Funny thing about this. Bruery growler swingtop stoppers usually blast off when the wire lock is released...this one didn't make a sound when opened. Anyways, it was plenty carbed and survived its' journey well. Pours a chill hazed brassy gold with a soap bubbly head that reached about two fingers thick before slowly receeding down to a fat collar that left a bit of lace in the glass.

S: Mildly spicy/fruity yeast aroma with a hint of herbal hops and toasty grains. Suprisingly mild considering who brewed this.

T: Pretty much like above with an even milder tone. As it warms, more of it's spice qualities come out but I was hoping for a stronger and frutier Belgian yeast component.

M: Pretty right on for the style. Perhaps a little drier than others but given the spiciness and dry/toasty qualities going on here, I'd have to say it does pretty well.

O: A suprisingly ho hum Bruery beer. Not terrible...heck, not bad really. But, not in line with most of the other things they offer.

Light yellow, under 1" of head. Aroma had some clove, not over the top, I guess the right amount.

A real crowd pleaser beer, not heavy, light body, no hops, easy to drink. Similar to kellerweisse from SN, but without the wheat, banana, much lighter. . . more lemon than banana.

A smooth, easy to drink beer delivery system. The lightest in terms of body and flavor profile of any Bruery beer I've ever had. Simple and good.

Served on-draught at the Bruery provisions store in Orange, California as part of a taster. Serving volume was 2 oz. At the time, I thought the serving temperature was entirely too warm, but they're The Bruery, so this can't be attributed to barstaff error. Reviewed from notes.

A: Pours a three finger head of fair cream and thickness, and good retention. Colour is a clear yellow-gold.

Sm: Yeast, light cream, and slight sourness. A clean aroma that is moderate in strength.

T: Light cream opens to a bland barley foundation with slight yeast notes. It's dirty and bland, built crappily. I suppose it's balanced in its blandness.

Mf: Smooth and wet, which doesn't really complement the flavour.

Dr: Easy to drink, but low quality and average ABV. I won't be having this one again.

On tap at Provisions

A: Pale golden color with barely any head.

S: Bready malts, some belgian yeast, a slight bit of earth and a touch of leather.

T: Some soft, earthy hops alongside some white pepper and lemon zest. This one definitely didn't blow me away.

A - Served a very cloudy golden-yellow color with a finger of white frothy head. The head faded fairly quickly leaving behind little lace.

S - Aroma was a mix of grains, yeast, and citrus. There was also a bit of spices (coriander) in the background.

T - Starts off with some mild citrus, lemon, and light grain. Through the middle, just a touch of hops and some yeast flavors come through. The finish is a blend of yeast, light spices,a nd some lemon.

M - Medium-light bodied with moderate carbonation. Felt smooth and just a touch watery.

D - Very drinkable. Nice mix of Belgian elements, and very sessionable. Could have used just a bit more punch in the body and flavor through.

At Provisions 8.11.11, generous sample pour in Special Flight $5.

Light gold body, a bit of chill haze, minimal visible carbonation 1/2 finger white head, little lacing. Nose is coriander prevalent, pilsener malt, floral hops. Taste mirrors nose, a bit on the sweetish side for the style. Medium mouthfeel, dry finish. One of the Bruery's most sessionable beers.

On tap at The Bruery. Snifter.

A: Burnished yellow gold with a small white cap of foam.

S: Notes of apple and pear are present with light pepper-like phenols. Malt is light and grainy with a toasted aspect. Floral character wafts from the glass.

T: A little grain with just a dash of pepper-like spiciness. Ripe golden apple blends with pear and a touch of lemon. The beer finishes lightly sweet with toasted notes and a little spiciness.

M: Light in body with upper moderate carbonation.

Overall: An enjoyable and refreshing Belgian Pale Ale.

Draft to goblet

App- A very golden yellow little beer with a 1/2 in of bubbles. No cling or lace

Smell- Light and flowery. A little citrus at the same time and saddled with a light hop aroma.

Taste- Its a great hot weather beer. Very light, crisp and clean. It has a nice balance with the yeast and hops even though it was very simple and not overpowering.

Mouth- A nice light bodied beer with a fairly high carbonation and a little yeast after note.

Drink- A good little beer with small balanced and clean flavors. This is a nice beer to have around on a hot day.

A-light gold with a thin white head

S-smells like creamed corn. good strength

T-comes in with a refreshingly light taste of belgian pale malts and spices. matching after-taste. very simple and clean. very decent for a light pale ale..

M-soft carbonation with a watery finish

O-one of the most drinkable belgian pale ales i've had. there are no negative tastes and slides down easily so quickly. the tastes aren't very strong, but they are of high quality.

On tap at the Bruery

Look: Pours a straw yellow color with a 1/4 head and ok retention and lacing

Smell: Citrus hops orange peel and a hint of wheat

Taste: The taste is very muted not too much going on here at all. There is hints of the wheat and orange peel and a touch of lemon

Mouthfeel: Light body and light carbonation

Overall: Good beer even thought it lacks flavor. It is light enought to the point that you could drink it everyday and for the price it is definitely worth it.
