Clearish magenta pour, with a thin pink-white head that pretty much disappeared, leaving little to no lacing behind. Tart raspberry aroma, some distant grassy funk. One-dimensional, but you get what you came for. More raspberry in the taste, not really surprising, moderate tartness, some sweetness, sour candy-ish and almost like a soda, lemon pith, mild grassy funk in the background. Light-medium body, and a thinner mouthfeel, which actually helped the drinkability. Pretty nice overall.

10 oz poured in an unlabeled goblet, on draft at the Bruery Tasting Room in Placentia, CA, today 1/10/2014.
Pours a beautiful ruby red body, luscious appearing. Like fruit punch. Some carbonation present as a white head, thin in character and not particularly long lasting. No lacing. It basically looks like the red Gatorade, a good quality this time. Normally it isn't...
Smells acidic and very tart; the raspberry tartness comes out in a strong way. Not complex but quite strong in what it does deliver. No funk or oak is really detectable.
Tastes damn acidic and sour; the raspberry comes out well on the palate as it does the nose. Nothing else to report. Sourness is probably 6/10.
Medium bodied, smooth and not watery or custardy at all. Just the right but of carbonation. Easy to drink, no apparent ABV.
Very good raspberry sour that doesn't overwhelm but delivers good intensity on what it does deliver.
Serving type: on-tap
