Thanks for sharing, NoSignsOfPain!
Clear golden amber. Thick white head and spots of lace left down the glass.
The aromas are of orange citrus, melon, pineapple, guava: an overwhelming aroma of fresh and pungent hops! The aromas are so bright, they practically leap out of the glass.
This beer is smooth, easy to drink, clean and disappearing, yet bitingly hoppy, pungent and citrusy. It's fruity, it's balanced, it's bitter, it's biting, it's tropical. It's everything I've ever wanted in a beer. It's superb.
Smooth, crisp, creamy yet airy, heavenly mouthfeel! This beer is extraordinary.
A masterpiece. One of those perfect beers.
The only pale ale better than Alpine's Hoppy Birthday.

Pours a surprisingly dark orange for a beer that is only 4.6%. Thin head, white. Slides down the glass, not much head or retention, but the burnt orange is really what is impressive to me. The smell is a fair funky hop presence. Funky citrra nelson type aroma. Grassy and loads of citrus.
Light mouthfeel in terms of malt body, the hops are flavorful, and not all that bitter, enjoyment maximized, thank you. Allows the pine to come out, you get equal mixes of citrus, tropical fruit and piney mild menthol. Very easy to drink, this makes it tough to go back to the usual stuff at the store. I think the carbonation is a little lower than their other humulus beers, that might be what is causing the oily slickness that a lot of people are talking about. Its far from a negative.
Actually pretty complex when you think about it. Orange, pineapple, pine. Yum Yum.

nice copper tone, with a good sized head that has some nice clumping and staying power as well as some decent lacing throughout. Smell is wonderfully hopped, like a pine cone dipped in orange juice! Fantastic full hoppy smell. Taste is right up with the smell. Full on hops from the gate. Piney, very grassy and citus, AWESOME. Very smooth with a nice dry aftertaste

On-tap at The Bruery
A: The beer pours a clear amber/orange color with a thin white head.
S: A nice citrus nose and quite fruity overall. There is a touch of piney hops and some floral hop character to it as well. A light sweetness of pale, bready malts.
T: Sweet and fruity with just a light pine flavor and bitterness. As with the aroma, plenty of citrus. There is a light pineapple and peach note to it as well. A subtle, underlying flavor of bread/malt.
M: Medium bodied with medium carbonation.
O: Not as good as Humulus Lager (though what is?), but still a good, easy drinking beer.
