2013 vintage tapped at The Catch (Anaheim, CA) on 8-Feb-14.
4 oz. pour into taster wine glass.
Smells like BT. Tastes like BT with hazelnut and the toffee is more prominent than the regular. I was hoping the hazelnut would shine more as it warmed, but it wasn't much.
2013 vintage 750 mL bottle poured into wine glass on 23-Feb-14.
Got more hazelnut and it wasn't overpowering.
Overall, It's no Mocha Wednesday but a nice variant of a solid BBA Imperial Stout. Prefer this slightly more than the regular BT.
Serving type: on-tap

Black Tuesday with hazelnuts. Bottle into a tulip. Note: the wax smells like hazelnuts. Awesome.
The brown of melted dark chocolate, opaque everywhere save the very edges, where its a lighter cherry-red. Thin head of off-white.
SWEET! Chocolate syrup, boysenberry, hazelnuts, vanilla, toasted oak, alcohol. Beautiful.
Better than Black Tuesday. Syrupy chocolate, hazelnuts, vanilla, a little oak, toffee. Extremely rich, very sweet.
Very spicy on the tongue. That alcohol doesn't mess around. Syrupy medium body, thick and heavy. Very mild, tingly carbonation, though the alcohol adds something.
