Generously shared by Hopbully. Thanks for the trade!
Pour is medium thickness, dark dark brown. Looks basically pitch black, except for the tiniest hint of light at the absolute edges. Tiny little head, minimal carbonation.
Smell is vanilla and chocolate upfront, with some bourbon heat, booze, hazelnut and oak following. The hazelnut is not as big as I'd hope, and it's a little more boozy/oaky than I'd like.
Taste is much better. Really huge milk chocolate and hazelnut, followed by vanilla, some alcohol heat to cut the sweetness. There's a bit of oakiness at the finish, but it's not as overpowering as in the nose. Slight bitterness, too.
Body is medium thickness, minimal carbonation. Not as thick and chewy as I'd like for a stout like this, but it's certainly not bad.
This is a delicious beer that will lay you flat. It's very sweet, however. I split it three ways, and found the last couple sips to be a little difficult. A good one for sharing.

Black Tuesday with hazelnuts. Bottle into a tulip. Note: the wax smells like hazelnuts. Awesome.
The brown of melted dark chocolate, opaque everywhere save the very edges, where its a lighter cherry-red. Thin head of off-white.
SWEET! Chocolate syrup, boysenberry, hazelnuts, vanilla, toasted oak, alcohol. Beautiful.
Better than Black Tuesday. Syrupy chocolate, hazelnuts, vanilla, a little oak, toffee. Extremely rich, very sweet.
Very spicy on the tongue. That alcohol doesn't mess around. Syrupy medium body, thick and heavy. Very mild, tingly carbonation, though the alcohol adds something.
