I traded a bottle of Darkness for this since the description is too good to pass up.
Filmishmish pours a light bodied, very cloudy dull tangerine orange in color with no head or lacing at all and appears almost flat. The nose is fruity and tart with nice acidity. It smells of peaches and apricot with some light acetic acid. The flavors are pretty straightforward. You get tart peach skins and dried apricot with plenty of acidity. It's actually not too far off from Hanssens gueuze, just with less acidity. I've been told this is somewhat similar to Fantasia but I think that this has better flavor and much more fruit presence. This beer is very drinkable but the one thing that hurts it it is the watery mouthfeel. This bottle isn't too far from being still. It isn't too far from a few gueuze in that regard. Still, I liked this beer but it didn't exactly live up to expectations.
