Pinocchio's tulip (shared with two others)
A: Pours like a thin orange juice with pulp. Cloudy bright tangerine color. Basically no head on this guy. Some big bubbles with the aggressive pour then a thin ring of white on edges initially that left as soon as it started. No lacing etc.
S: Delicious aroma of apricot as soon as I cracked it. Really pungent tart citrus fruit. Some clean oak aromas, leading to light wood.
T: Tart acidic flavor on the tip of tongue, then you get some of that lingering apricot. It's not overly mouth puckering. Wish there was more but seems to have faded a bit. You get some of that oak to round the flavor. Finish is dry and wine like. Alcohol isn't there at all.
M: light leading to medium. I could drink the whole thing. Little more carbonation would be nice.
Serving type: bottle
