Bottled on 04/17/14.
Pours a cloudy pink. The one inch white head fades to a thin ring on top and leaves spotty lace. The appearance is reminiscent of pink grapefruit juice cocktail.
The smell is of vinegar, barnyard funk, cherry skins and a faint unpleasant sulfur aroma.
The taste is of tart unripe cherries, white grapes and vinegar tartness.
The texture is light bodied with high carbonation.
Excluding the aroma, this offering hits the target on all aspects: Light and refreshing with tart cherry flavors, only the faint sulfuric aroma prevents this from being a top-notch sour.
