A batch of Hottenroth Berliner that failed to sour properly and aged with fresh kumquats.

1203rd Review on BA
Draft to Goblet
16oz
@TheBruery
App- Hazy medium yellow with a soft 1 finger quick receding head. Small speckeled cling.
Smell- Wheat forward with grainular citrus and then a little spice and prickly tang.
Taste- A lot more of the wheat comes out on this one. The prickly citrus of the Kumquats is fairly light. Refreshing, crisp and light. Not overly tart but has a lemonde tinge grainular flavor to it.
Mouth- A very light body with a high carbonation level. Leaves the wheat and kumquats flavor quite nice and a lip smacking tang.
Drink- Tasty little beer, really light and refreshing.

Why does Hottenroth rule and Nottenroth Not?
Pours like literally the thinnest beer I have ever seen. The aroma was downright sulfuric.
The taste was more of water than Natural Light. Like they put 4 lemon wedges in a water at Olive Garden.
So disappointing.
