A batch of Hottenroth Berliner that failed to sour properly and aged with fresh kumquats.

Why does Hottenroth rule and Nottenroth Not?
Pours like literally the thinnest beer I have ever seen. The aroma was downright sulfuric.
The taste was more of water than Natural Light. Like they put 4 lemon wedges in a water at Olive Garden.
So disappointing.

This is not a good beer. I guess I see the appeal of a low alcohol, almost flavorless beer for some settings (4th of July party with Bud-swigging relatives? beer pong?), but not at $10 a bottle. This isn't what I'm looking for from the Bruery. Smells boring, almost like nothing, tastes thin and vegetable-y. The Hottenroth is awesome, but this bastard sibling is nothing of the sort.
