On tap at the new tasting room.

A: Pours a murky yellowish-orange with an initial 1/2-inch white head which vanishes in the blink of an eye to nothing (never seen anything like that). No lace.

N: Funky and peachy like an overipe peach left outside for a day or so with some faint mold growth on it. Oak tannins present.

T: Peach fruits, mildly tannic, bright and mildly sour.

M: Low carbonation, yet prickly. Lite body. Lingering tart and tannin.

O: Nice to try. Enjoyable. (478 characters)

Cask at the Bruery

Pours an incredibly turbid orange color with no head. Intense sourness on the nose. Lots of lactic acidity to the beer which the vanilla and lactose do little to mitigate. An awesome peach aroma which is where most of the sweetness comes from. A really great peach flavor to it, too, which seems to be enhanced by the vanilla and sugar. Really assertive acidity to this; this is very sour! (409 characters)

On tap at The Bruery in Placentia, CA.

Pours a murky peach juice color with a foamy tan head that fades to nothing. No lacing on this one. Smell is sour, tart, and funky with some malt and slight peach aromas. Taste has much more fresh peach flavor with an acidic and tart finish on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a very crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer that is extremely tasty but I think it tastes better than it smells. (483 characters)

Had a couple 3oz pours at The Bruery's anniversary party.

Abbreviated review: Hazy straw/golden yellow pour with little tan head. Smells of apricots. Taste phenomenally of apricots. Creamy bursting apricots. Has a great creamy feel. Top 3 beers of the anniversary party. (271 characters)
