750mL bottle shared at tasting. Reviewed from notes.

Golden orange, bright and glowing with a rapidly diminishing white head. Vigorous bead.

Zingy and vibrant peach lending a subtle sweet edge to the solid base notes of light dusty funk and mellow lemony tartness.

Quite a bit sourer than expected, although still manageabley so. There's a unique sweet and sour twang from the peach that integrates very well with the base beer.

Lovely mouthfel. Buzzy, lively acidity, silky carbonation and dreamy tartness.

Excellent treatment of a very smart base beer. The peach fits like lock and key.

Fairly clear pour with brown dregs clouding the final pour more than previously. Dark orange/juicy apricot/peach in color. Collar of near-white, large bubbled foam. Somewhat sticky on the way down. Gorgeous American fruited sour.

Lots of juicy, sour, and lactic peach character in the aroma. Mild vanilla and oak, but less than in the base beer. Very mild vinegar. Fruit begins to present more and more as the beer warms.

Balanced well between fruit character, lactic sour, and vanilla/oak/earth notes. As with the aroma, the peach character and a slight vinegar presence becomes slightly more pronounced as the beer warms. Perhaps not quite as sour as the base beer without fruit. Complete and delicious. Fantastic.

Near medium bodied with fairly high carbonation for the style.

Fantastic. One of the best beers The Bruery has ever done. Loved this beer.

Rocked a bottle while tailgating before the first game of the Nevada/SDSU baseball series. Future 1st round pick Shipley pitching!

Pours the color of a peach, off to a great start, it even produced a pretty head on it, 3/5" range. Even for being poured into a "red solo cup" (ah damn, one of the worst songs ever), it still had great retention, and did its best to give lace on the slick surface.

Aroma, juicy and sour. We're doing great here. The peach is all over it, smells like a peach and apricot blend. Thinking Cascade already. The taste hits you with a MASSIVE amount of fruit and sourness. The rye still makes for a sturdy body. Alcohol, nowhere to be found in the mouthfeel. Plenty of citrus to taste throughout it. Are peaches even citrus? Anyways, it has that orange like citrus sweetness. I don't want to understate this: its deliciously sour. Sourheads rejoice!

Would never have thought they could really improve sour in the rye, but lo and behold, this is better than the original. Now if you were huge on the rye, you might be disappointed, because the rye, from a taste perspective, is not as pungent as it was in the base version. But don't lose sight of the fact that the rye still makes a very nice foundation for the beer, even if the spice aspect of it isn't there. The caramel undercurrent is minimal and well placed. Oak in the right amount.

One of the best new beers of 2013. Maybe the best so far.

S - Lactic acid, lemon peel, balanced with sweet peach

T - Peach sweetness up front before you get hit with the tart lemon, white vinegar and lactic acid. This is well balanced between the two. The finish is tart with light oak.

M - Tart, dry, and lots of carbonation that gives it a sharp bite to it.

O - Well balanced sour from the Bruery that is one of the better ones they have made. The peaches complement the tartness of the base beer well. It manages to be sweet while also making you almost want to pucker up from its tartness.

Appearance - Murky orange. Lots of haze and sediment. Nice white head. Medium collar.

Smell - Bright acidity. Grainy. Peaches blend in nicely. Might even detect some rye there.

Taste - Peaches are much more prominent. Peach nectar flavor that gets stronger throughout. Oakier in the taste than the nose. Lots of vanilla. Peach juice in the finish.

Mouthfeel - Pretty sour. Not the cleanest of sours, but nice. High carbonation.

Overall - Not often I enjoy a Bruery sour. This is really excellent. Delicious peach flavor.
