Notes/Commercial Description:
Beauregarde is our first ever use of blueberries and we couldn't be happier with how this beer turned out. We added an incredible amount of fruit to our barrel aged, sour blonde ale and the result is just as expected. A lovely shade of reddish purple with flavors of tart blueberries, just in time for summer. Perfect along side a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream.

A: A very nice blue/purple color with a finger and a half of pale blue-ish white head.

S: Strong acidity, lemon, and a touch of blueberry

T: Moderate-high sourness. A bit puckering. Mild fruit character. Unbalanced, but still enjoyable.

M: Moderate carbonation. A bit thin.

O: This is a solid offering. Like most of the Bruery's sour beers, this one lacks depth but the powerful acidity keeps it enjoyable.

Amber/peach colored brew, with lots of haze. One-finger snappy white head rises and falls without leaving any head.

Lemon, funky, horse blanket, blueberry, pear, green apple.

Whoa. The flavors are amazing. Grape, tart blueberry, lemon, green apple, farmy funk, tons of citrus vinegar. Nice prickly carbonation, sweetness with a side of dry earthyness. Awesome flavors meld into a great even mouthfeel. No spice, heat, over the topness...

Nothing is over done with this brew, just smooth and even. Highly recommended for a fantastic tart sour.
