Beachwood Sourfest Beer.
A - Pours dark pink with a mostly white head.
S - Raspberries dominate with some malt to give it a "crust".
T - Much like the aroma. Strong raspberries with some extra tartness, and malt backbone as crust.
M - Good carbonation.
O - Pretty mixed on this one. Maxed my allocation but I'd much rather just have a real sour or a NG Fruit beer without the unnecessary ABV.

Interesting beer. It had a lot of potential, but both on the nose and the palate there was a hint of soap that kept this from being a lot better. Like the balance between the rhubarb and raspberries, and the underlying ale, while simple, was a nice canvas. A fun beer, but not a great beer.

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter.
Appearance - Reddish hazy body. Not much of a head, but a few wisps.
Smell - Raspberry and cherry. Oaky. Acidic. Smells nice.
Taste - Much more malty. Less intense on the raspberry, but it's there. Sharp tang. Musty. Oak. Pushes very sour.
Mouthfeel - Sour. Medium heavy and oaky.
Overall - Dramatically worse in flavor than nose. It isn't that terrible. Just rough.
