Stopped by for the first time this past weekend on Father's Day to get a growler filled for my day off with the family. I showed up right at opening time and got some very quick service.

Outside is nothing to look at being just another front door in a small industrial strip mall, but once that garage door opens up and you find yourself among stainless fermenting tanks and a wall of barrels and you know you are in a magical place.

The other customers there were friendly and up for a good chat about Bruery offerings and other brews just recently released. I was told I am going to have to come back on Fridays when the food trucks are in full swing for an awesome experience.

Nice amount of stuff being poured when I stopped by. Saison Rue, Rugbrod, Saison de Lente 2010 and '11, Salt of the Earth, Cornballer, Mischief, Cuir, and Marron just to name a few.

I am definately going to have to become a regular at this wonderful place if I can get the right days off.

Nice place and I am glad I stopped by...Vast beer selection here, but unfortunately for me, it is in beer types (wild ales, sours, barleywine) that are not in my wheelhouse. Customer service was great and vibe was nice. I like the fact that they had most of their selections available to go in bottles or cans. A lot of craft brewers are not able to do this.

Reviews typically involve a lot of subjectivity. Here's my experience.

Vibe. I was there on a Wednesday night with a group on the patio. The patio's heated, which was nice because it's getting a bit colder in OC. They had a food truck there, I just shared various iterations of fries, which were good. There were a good amount of people (about 15-20) both inside and outside. Crowd is friendly. I took .25 off because of the tour bus which parked outside and for the drunk lady stumbling back to the bus.

Very clean, and it's got a bunch of huge barrels on-site, which is cool to see.

Quality. I tried a flight of sours and had some barrel aged beers. I loved the Autumn Maple and Vietnamese Coffee Stout. I generally don't like sours, but had to try them because it's the Terreaux's speciality.

Service: Friendly bartenders. There was a line of about 6-8 people at times, but it moved pretty quick.

Selection: Nice selection of sours, barrel aged beers, and IPAs.

Nice open layout nothing fancy, expected better swag to be on sale. A few TVs on

Beers were all tasty

Service was pretty good, had to flag my guy down a few times

Selection was pretty nothing uber-rare, well over 25 beers on tap. Tons of bottled stuff I would've looked at if I hadn't dropped a bunch of money at the store prior to getting here

Beyond disappointed. I have always enjoyed Bruery as a craft beer fan and I had the opportunity to finally venture out to the tasting room to try their new Bruesicles that I'd heard so much about. It was busy, but the line seemed to move a bit slower than expected, but the staff was friendly. The PIPO and Rita were good enough that I wanted to buy 3 Crowlers of each - $90 in total and I was excited to share this with my friends from out of state coming soon.

I purchased my crowlers on 01/20 and on 01/26, I decided to crack open one of the PIPO open. From the initial pour and look, I could already tell something was EXTREMELY off. The light orange color was now a dark orange color, basically looking like orange juice. I thought, alright, maybe it tastes just fine. WRONG. It was oxidized for sure, tasting like wet cardboard, bitter grapefruit, and just very off. A far cry from the pineapple tart sour that I enjoyed at the tasting room.

I immediately emailed Bruery Terreux and sent a Facebook message, because oxidation for a crowler in less than a week is really weird. I kept it in perfectly refrigerated conditions and I heard no response until today, 02/02. The response I got was very inadequate...

"Thank you for your pictures and the note about your crowlers. Your message has been forwarded to our tasting room staff and will be looked into. We like to remind everyone to enjoy their crowler beers within a week, and to keep their Bruesicles well refrigerated to maintain freshness."

So not only did I wait a week to even receive a response, I'm being disregarded with a stock message about how I should "enjoy" my crowler beer within a week and refrigerated. From my message, pictures, and documentation I provided, it had been 6 days MAXIMUM from canning and to wait one ADDITIONAL week to be told "we'll look into it" is simply poor customer service to say the least.

I will no longer support Bruery and recommend that anyone stay far away. They simply do not care about their customers or quality control.

Suuuuper busy place depending on when you're there. Service is OK as the gents try to plow through the line as best they can, only one spot to order drinks and pick up. Could certainly use more space inside. Selection is out of this world overwhelming.

The variety is just amazing! I think they have more than 60 on tap plus all their bottled selection. It was truly one of the best beer experiences I have had to date. Beers are very experimental and exotic it was like another level of beer tasting. Just overall wonderful.

Good sized taproom in an industrial building. Flight sheet where you could check off the beers that you wanted. OVER 60 choices! Loved the Arnold La Palma.

Hard to hate on this place. They regularly have 30+ beers on tap, including barrel-aged gems and sours. Friendly beertenders and clean tasting room. The only real gripe is that this place is too small for the brewery's popularity. They could easily fill a venue 3X the size.

Some of the best beers in the nation.

Food trucks are typically there for dinner (except Monday/Tuesday's usually).

Barhands are very knowledgeable in the subject and can provide a great insight to help assemble a flight.

Incredible place! Very relaxed vibe full of people conversing over good beer. Close to 30 taps of Bruery offerings including a couple of their Terruex sours. Service was exceptional; and a 5 pour flight for $8 is hard to beat. They even sell bottles to go for many of the offerings. One of the best breweries visits I've done.

This was my first visit to the Bruery Tasting Room. Unfortunately I don't get down to the LA area too often and even this visit was a little rushed because I was just passing through and still had a drive ahead of me. It was 1pm on a Wednesday and even though the bar was full, there wasn't anyone else in the room. A dozen or so more people came in during the hour and a half I was there. There was only one bartender on shift. He was able to take my first order at the bar, but by the time I was ready for a second round, there was a small line forming at the register and he wasn't able to get back to me. I was still trying to find a beer I could growler. So after waiting in line, my time was running out, I had to make a blind call on the growler fill. The beers are excellent, as expected, and the place is spacious and clean. I just wish I could have had the chance to taste a couple of more.
