I stop by here for a flight about 1-2 times a month. I really would love to go to the Bruery tasting room more often but there are a few annoying things that prevent me from doing so.

The Bruery Tasting Room outside of Anaheim is a great place for lovers of their style of beer. It's very casual and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Unlike some craft breweries I've visited, who appear to be bothered that you even visited, these folks seem to care that you enjoy their beers as much as they do. (Particular thank you to Karina, who was super pleasant and helpful.) And, you cannot beat the selection! Between taps and bottles, there must have been 28-35 beers to sample. Only downside - no food of any kind. There is a food truck, which didn't come, and you can bring in outside food (again very casual vibe), but just so you're forewarned. This is truly a tasting room and not a brew pub. :)

They had an amazing tap list. And bottles for sale. There was a lot of room. And the service was pretty good. The place was crowded, but didn't feel packed. Food available outside. If you enjoy their beers you should definitely visit.

The space itself is nothing special. Some tables and barrels slapped together. If you go on the weekend, it's going to be jam packed. As in you probably won't be able to find a table and will have to awkwardly balance your giant taster (because going through that line again is the last thing you'll want to do) on whatever space you can find. They're a pretty big deal and just don't have the space. Hopefully that changes.

As for the beer...if you REALLY like bourbon/rum/scotch/etc. beers, then this is the place for you. I like them, but I also like to sip on a nice 5-7% beer, especially at a brewery. It can be hard to do here, depending on the lineup. I mean, it's some of the highest quality brew to be found, but a lot of it is north of 10%. Their Society stuff seems to be taking over. Again, if that's your thing, then you'll be a kid in a candy store. But if you like beers in the typical ABV range, then you may have a harder time finding something you like.

Members only vibe. Half the beer selection is for members only, can't even get a taster. I love funky beers, but some of them are too out there.

Located in a industrial strip parking lot, this place has grown over the few years. Now its place is a lot more sterile and spacious, but the demand is such that it is still crowded as hell.

Quality is top notch, they have a wide variety of world class brews. A few draft only things, although most of them suck (blueberry smoking wood to give you an idea). Service could be better. Slow. Not enthusiastic.

Gotta pick my beer up here.

One of the chefs told me to check out the Bruery while I was out in the Los Angeles area. Thank You, Chef James!! It was predictable incredible.

Your typical brewery-in-an-industrial-park setting, but THE BRUERY!! 23 taps, with lots of exclusives. They had a number of Smoking Wood variants to celebrate the retirement of one of my favorite beers (sad face), including Blueberry Smoking Wood, Mole and a Coffee Smoking Wood that was beyond phenomenal, up there with Goose Bourbon Coffee.

Also Sucre Tequila to celebrate National Tequila Day, Roble Blanco. I got two tasting flights, one of dark beers (So Happens It’s Tuesday, Blueberry Smoking, Coffee Smoking, Mole Smoking, Sucre Tequila) and one of sours and weirdness (Sans Pagaie, Beret, Tart of Darkness ’15, White Oak, Roble Blanco).

The jawn is relatively small, super popular and pretty crowded-loud-noisy-hot on a Friday evening after 5pm. But the ordering system is neat and organized and servers are helpful, so it doesn’t feel uncomfortable. I was surprised at the paucity of bottled beers for sale/take out .Growler fills were plenty, but very few bottles.

I still dream of this place. Can't wait to go back.
