Appearance: Pours a clear golden color with plenty of carbonation. About 1.5" of eggshell white head forms, which has awesome retention and lacing. Looks like a very well crafted beer.
Smell: I get a whiff of malts up front, a bit of caramel with the rest being rather faint, which explains the wheat presence. Tons of citrusy hops make up the remainder of the smell. Lots of mango and pineapple.
Taste: Good caramel backbone up front. Not getting a whole lot of wheat in the malt flavor. Maybe just a touch of dryness on the finish. Lots of grapefruit, orange peel, and mango make up the hop character. A bit of hoppiness on the finish.
Mouthfeel/Overall: Mouthfeel is light with a perfect amount of carbonation. Nice and dry on the finish. Overall, really was a fan of this beer. It's the first offering I've had from 10 Barrel, and I was impressed. Nice balance and great hop character.

From a bottle with no freshness date. Hazy amber with two fingers of off white head that has staying power. Plentiful lacing.
Smell is big piney hop resins.
Taste is pine resin hop flavors a mild amount of citrus and a good amount of wheat and other malts make this more balanced than a typical AIPA.
Mouthfeel is about medium for the style with good amount of carbonation and a long dry finish.
Overall an easy drinking wheat IPA. The pine forward aspect leads me to believe this is a fairly old bottle.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a half finger, fine white head with good retention and light lacing. Mild aroma of pine and citrus hops and light bready malt. Flavor is light pine, citrus and faintly herbal hops and a light neutral malt. There is a light wheat ale component, but I'm not sure I would have identified it if I didn't already know this was a wheat IPA. Nice moderately creamy body. I have to guess this is related to the recently released Hop Project #136 Wheat India Pale Ale, but the hops are much more subdued here. The same light, unobtrusive malt and mild wheat character are present. This is a nice low key IPA, but I'm surprised the hops are more mellow in this version (the hops were very fresh and complex in the #135. The wheat component gives this a nice dry, balanced finish.

A - Dirty golden, somewhat clear but a little cloudy, a small 1/4 inch head that lingers
S - Citrus, fresh hopes scent
T - Smooth with enough of hop tingle for IPA fans
M- Creamy and light
Overall: A fantastic off shoot of the traditional IPA. Two thumbs up.

22oz bottle from Roths Sunnyslope Market in S.Salem. $3.99 Pours a slightly hazed pale orange with a nice frothy and thick white head..that stays a while. Fine aromas of mainly fruity, juicy citric hop very fresh and very inviting. Taste is similar to aroma but has more malt sweetness and nice bitter long lasting after taste. Palate is thinnish and i think this intended for this August period in Oregon. A nice drinkable Summer IPA

A: Clear when poured from the tap (despite other reports if haze). Medium light carbonation. Little to no head. Light straw color.
S: Fruity. Orange and may be strawberry. Wheat and white flour.
T: Light with citrus. Orange is a heavy player with grapefruit. Fair amount of bittering but nowhere near overpowering. Mild pine flavor from the hops.
M: Thin and very smooth. I would have taken this for more of a summer beer. Little green grass aftertaste from the hops. Refreshing. Was quenching with some spicy food but got a bit washed out in flavor department.
O: Very nice. Nothing too over the top. Just an easy going lighter ipa. I like the grapefruit and slightly sweet orange flavored hops as opposed to the dry hop varieties. Would be good on a warm summer afternoon.

22oz : SN IPA Glass
Clear, golden with a foamy, white head.
Sweet, tropical, citric fruits, light resinous notes.
Great, hoppy tropical, citric notes for the most part in the palate.
Medium+ body, foamy carbonation.
A very nice wheat IPA. Lots of hop characteristic without overwhelming the palate.
