While the Deschutes Brewery has the commercial stronghold coming out of the Bend, OR region, this establishment holds the quality card hands down. The beer is original, the food is completely worthwhile, the atmosphere a semi-low key while go-to destination, and it overall is a mainstay on what is called the "Bend Ale Trail". . . My family frequents the area for an annual vacation, and I can't imagine my stay being fulfilled without visiting the 10 Barrel Brewing Co.

So... went here because it is on the Bend Ale Trail, (and I do love a challenge and some swag) and conveniently a block away from Sunriver and Boss Rambler, but as I've been boycotting Budweiser products I opted not to indulge. Interesting looking place. Maybe Bud will divest one of these days...

finally made it to the original location! Looks like a huntin lodge (kind of) with an odd layout. Bar is located in the back of the place. Busy for a Sunday night. Actually had less taps than the Boise location. Food available, but I did not eat. Service was OK, but that may be due to the crowd. Beer, as always, was pretty good.

Didn't work for me. Place was packed on a Saturday evening and service was slow. Nice new facility with limited parking. Ambiance is upscale modern and has a commercial feel. There is no originality or warm rustic feel. Definitely family oriented. Outside fire-pit is a nice touch, but being next to the parking lot in an industrial area even it can't overcome the lack-luster atmosphere.

I was not sure about going here since their aquisition by AB/InBev but was pleasantly suprised. Parking is a bit of a nightmare, had to park a couple blocks away and walk in. Nice patio/beer garden. Ample selection of house taps, food was excellent. Staff was friendly, service was a bit slow but the place was packed. Overall, my initial reservations were put to rest and I would return here.

Ugh, where to start here. Place is really nice, everything else was mediocre to downright awful. Had to track down a server who said "I didn't see you"... a table in the sun with four people at it. Beers were unspectacular, food was miserable. I should have listened when people said not to go here, but we really wanted pizza. Someday I'll learn.

Love this place. Cool atmosphere. The place is jamming. Lots of garage style doors/windows that open up on warm days. Great food and beer! Service is friendly. What's not to love!! Please open up one in NJ and I'll be there every week.

First trip to Bend and doing the Ale Trail. I want to hate this place because they sold out to AB Inbev, but I don't. SOLID all around. Vibe, service, food, and of course the beers are all top notch. Had the Rude Boy Rya and Apocalypse IPA on nitro. Excellent all around.

Beers here are ok ... just ok. The atmosphere is kind of letdown. It feels more like a family restaurant in here than a place to get a good beer. I tried a pizza here and it looked awesome but tasted just ok. WIth places like Crux around, I can't think of any reason to stop here. Especially now that they sold out to AB-Inbev.
