poured from the 22oz into a barrel mug. pours a darker copper color with two fingers of glorious froth at the top that has pretty good retention and leaves a little bit of lacing.
smell: mostly getting the sweet malts but there is a definite note of floral and piney hops.
taste: once again mostly the sweet malts but with a fairly well defined hop profile mixed in. not as flavorful as some other ipas but it has a flavor of its own that im really enjoying.
mouthfeel: a tad oily a tad sticky. fairly typical mouthfeel of well balanced ipas
very drinkable if you can get it. i was lucky enough to have someone bring one down from the brewery. wish it was readily available.
lookin forward to trying their pub ale
