Pours a hazy orange color with 2 fingers of head. The aroma may be the best part of this beer and possibly the best aroma Ive ever got from a beer. One of the most pungent and booming aromas, this literally smells like smelling hop pellets in your hand. Citrus and pine bombard the nose at first with a little bit of bready malt. The taste is very good with the citra hop clearly shining through with the distinctive passionfruit followed by some citrus and light pine notes. The bready malt helps balance this hoppy pale ale by removing bitternness and adding a smooth, creamy finish. Mouthfeel is a little sticky and sweet from the malt which detracts for me. Overall, this is a very tasty brew and woud make for a great beginners beer to hoppy ales and even satisfy even the most seasoned hop head.
Edit: This is also a unassuming beer considering the label design, which makes for the don't judge a book by its cover example. It may look average on the outside, but this is much more than average.

A- Deep orange to light copper in color. 1 Finger light head with terrific lacing and a ring that stays around for a while.
S- Big citrus notes from the Citra hops- orange zest, grapefruit, lemon. Bready malts for sure. Earthy hops come through as well. Impressive nose.
T- Follows nose really well. Hop forward with the big citrus fruits. All on a nice malt backbone. Perfectly timed bitterness in the finish. Toasted malts and some pine tree oils. Just the right amount of balance in a pale.
M- Drinkable, refreshing, mid body. Carbonation seems to be about right for the style.
O- Great use of the Citra hop! A balance that is spot on. Lots of impressive qualities here. Goes perfect with smoked BBQ.
