Eh. I'd hoped for more.
I really thought maybe, just maybe there would be some sort of distinct Belgian flavor in this. So sad.
Just a typical--though above average--Euro pale lager. Definitely one of the better examples of the style, but that ain't saying much because the entire style is so pathetic.
Reminded me quite a bit of Grolsch. Some of that same grassy spicy flavor. Clean. Very lightly hoppy. But IMO, this entire style of beer is a blight upon humanity. Just a way for people to get a buzz without worrying about flavor.

14.9 oz can poured into my FREE Stella Artois chalice.
Pours a crystal clear pale yellow color with two fingers of fluffy foam. Looks quite nice, actually. Aroma is bready, cooked corn, slightly vegetal.
The first sip is a very mild, slightly sweet flavor, with a slight bitter vegetal aftertaste. Bitterness seems to linger and wears on the tongue after a while.
This is a clean-tasting lager with no real offensive flavors. Overall pretty bland, but you can do a lot worse.

This massed produced Belgium beer, does not live up to the other beers of Belgium, it is only well known becuase of mass marketing in the United States and hipsters. It is marginally better than massed produced pale lagers in the United States. It pours golden clear, with little lacing, and a medium sized head that dissapears pretty fast after arriving. It has a hoppy, stale, and skunky taste, with twinges of rice and wheat, and the it has the aroma of malt and hops. Goes down easy, low alcohol content, and less filling makes it good for barabacueing and partying, not much else. Nothing to get excited about, not the best, not the worst.
