Poured golden pale clear color with 1-to-2 fingers of frothy white head. Below average lacing along the sides of the glass. Above average amount of white retention all the way down.
Smelled bread, cereal, hay, corn, Belgian spices, peppery spices and a tad bit of caramel.
Tasted similar to the taste, although I would argue not quite as good. Tasted bread, hay, cereal and corn mainly. Spices weren’t as potent as the nose. Move Belgian skunky spices than anything else.
Light body. Thin texture. Average carbonation. Watery, abrupt finish.
A lot better than I remember it. Nothing spectacular about this beer, but for the style, which I’m still pretty new to, it’s not too bad.
