A - Fizzy yellow beer. But wait, this head actually stays around for more than a second and has some decent lace.

S/T - Clean cereal grain sweetness. Even a touch of hops in the finish.

M - Light body, high carbonation, but it maintains a smooth, fluffy consistency. Not bad, and finishes mostly clean.

O - I couldn't really find much of anything wrong with this beer. With all the not so great publicity this gets around these parts, it's not all that bad, especially considering the style.

14.9 fl oz can

Extremely clear, nearly colorless slightly yellow. Minimal fizzy 1/2 finger "head" melts instantly.

Weak pilsner malt aroma. Not much else to say.

Nearly empty pilsner malt flavor with a slight touch of Belgian funk, and a trace of bitterness.

Thin, heavily carbonated mouthfeel, but not completely contradictory to the style.

I'm not sure what I expected here, but overall I'm not impressed. It's a step above the typical "big three."

Light golden, medium frothy/soapy head.

The aroma is slightly toasted barley malt and some floral, maybe earthy hops.

The taste is a nice balance of the malt, a little more hop presence than Heineken, but finishes very smooth and bready, and almost has a sweetness to it, much like Heineken.

I compare this to Heineken because it's almost exactly the same as far as aroma and taste profiles go.

This is the best of the economical beers I have tasted. Some people say the bud light of belgium, but Belgium has some of the best beer in the world, so I am fine drinking quite possibly one of the best value beers out there. I do recommend this beer if u don't want to spend more on high class stuff.

A-light golden with not much of a white head which dissipates quickly

S-light yeast aromas

T-light malt and yeast flavors with slight sweetness and bitter finish

F-light body with average carbonation

O-average lager nothing special, may be ok with pub food

12 oz bottle at Comellas - can't believe I ordered this - should have gone with the wine.
A - pale yellow, nice head
S - skunky, hints of sulfur
T - slightly bitter, watery, a little stale. Not going well with my pasta
M - thin and watery, but cold
O - better on a hot summer day, or with different food, I suppose.

A- Pale golden. Thin weak lasting head actually leaves some good lacing.
S- The aroma is mild but is grainy, a touch of bland malt sweetness and a bit of bread.
T- It's clean generic sweetness up front. On the whole it's sweet but doesn't have much flavor. There is a papery, slightly oxidize flavor to it.
M- Light body, aggressive carb.
O- It's ok, but for all its name value its not that much better of a pale lager.

OK so I bought a case of imported and didn't realise I hadn't done The Review Thing.

Somewhat outdated, but here goes,

Pours a very (very) pale straw. Head comes and goes. Individual large bubbles rise, well spaced out.

Aromas of, erm Stella - doesn't help much does it? but some yeast some dought, some dryness. Unique.

Tastes is malts and dough, Not bad at all. Sweetness grows.

Overall, good drinking for style. Serve cold.

11.2 oz. bottle poured into my trusty mug.

A- This beer is downright amazing compared to other pale Euro lagers. straight forward straw-yellow colored, but the bright white head is what really impresses. Sticks around longer than some craft brews, and laces nicely down the mug.

S- Not the strong suit of Stella. Has that odd cooked veggie/sweetness smell similar to Becks/Heinie/Grolsch. Meh.

T- Stella separates itself on the taste. So much better than any other pale Euro lager. The sweetness is almost tea-like, reminds me almost of an ESB, but without the biscuity qualities of the malt bill. Simple, refreshing, and doesn't have any nasty corn flavors.

M- medium side of thin. Decent carbonation. The small amount of hops drys just a bit to invite another sip

O- This is one of my very favorite macro's, and will take it any day over it's Euro lager kin. Yummy.

P: 12 fl oz bottle in to a pint glass

A: SRM is light golden. Crystal clear. White head, 1 in, semi fluffy, dissipates to line top of beer. Minimal lacing, medium carbonation.

S: Malt and hop. Slight banana scent.

T: Light malt, light hop. Slight citrus/banana notes.

M: Crisp and refreshing. Very little aftertaste, slightly hoppy.

O: Average beer, but still worthy of semi-craft status. Good mellow flavor and very refreshing to drink.

alright lets be honest here. this beer is not getting poured into a tulip glass or a chalice. It is a classic lager and it is easy to drink alot of these bad boys. I picked up a 15 pack of 330ml bottles for my adventures at school in london. This beer is simple crisp and smooth. A great alternitive to the big three at home. Its always hard to turn down a cold stella. So all in all this is just a slightly better than average beer but it is definitely a good choice for easy drinking.

14.9oz white classic looking can. Poured pretty viscious into the glass to create a nice sized off white micro bubble head & active carbonation racing to the surface. Minimal lacing here. In all honesty it looks like a standard american adjunct lager - boring.

Light grain, a shit ton of belgian slightly funk yeast, and mild hops. For the most part its just the yeast that stands out. Tongue follows, pretty balanced & light brew here. Not robust and rich as found in ales, but highly drinkable and crisp like a lager should be, in my opinion.

Overhyped and near ubiquitous. For some reason it’s become a marker of a ‘classy’ joint, although there’s any number of better brews just as (or should be) widely available and around the same price point. Anyways, marketing aside this has that distinctive ‘Stella’ flavor profile. Consistent, in the way that I would expect it to be. (Again with the snark!) It was not unpleasant, which is about as generous as I’ll get with this beer. Drank it with pizza. They played well together.

This one i got is made at Borsodi brewery in Hungary,so it's maybe even better then that original.

A-Usual for lagers, medium bubbles, white foam lasting one or two minutes, golden color.

S-Very gentle smell,nothing to much to feel,malt..

T/M-This IS very, very refreshing. Yes i guess it must be at some 5 C temperature as it said on the bottle. On the other hand, watery finish,i didn't feel nothing to much above average.

O-EPL-s are usually bad beers, but this one is more then that,it is good.

Pre-BA this was my go-to beer. Now I still find it refreshing and relatively cheap, but I rarely pick this up anymore.

A: clear gold color, head is almost nonexistent

S: skunk with a touch of malt

T: still a bit of a skunky flavor, but other than that there's not much else to describe.

M: I still do find it refreshing, but in more of a thirst quenching way as opposed to flavorful.

O: Nothing too special. Only reason I still pick it up is due to nostalgia as it used to be a favorite.

A - Clear medium golden color. White almost no existent soap head that leaves just wisps of lacing. Typical.

S - Getting some grains in the nose along with some floral hops. Also picking up a bit of lemon zest and a small amount of skunk.

T - Pretty grainy. I kinda dig it. Still getting that lemon zest in the middle but without the skunk this time around.

M - Refreshing. Has a clean build and crisp carbonation.

O - Not really into the style but this is definitely one of the better mass produced Euro Pale Lagers. I probably wouldn't buy it but if given to me I would drink it with no problems.
