Pours a nice smooth silk screen champagne color, 1/2" head that lingers. Frothy yet slippery lacing. Not too bubbly, damn near transparent straw-golden body.

Smell smells like France. Floral, hoppy, grainy, and the Metro.

Tastes flat, uninviting, slightly salty, and warm. Not in temperature but mouthfeel.

Quizzical and overpowering on-bringing to a super dry, sharp finish that never really, well, finishes. Grainy at the bottom of the mouth and throat aftertaste

If you've ever been to England, you know the story and reputation of Stella. It's only fun and and taboo to drink over there. Trust me.

Green bottle!

A: Pale, extreme clarity. White head. Dissipates rapidly, heavy carbonation.

S: Skunk, cooked vegetation, little bit of sulfur, some skunk. Light breadiness...more like a cracker smell, really.

T: Malt, cracker flavor (again), slightly phenolic taste with a tiny bit of hop presence. Finishes cleanly, but really never had much flavor to begin with.

M: Light bodied. Fairly carbonated. Better than the BMC crowd, but not by a whole hell of a lot.

O: This really may be the most average beer on the planet. Straight meh all the way through. Nothing offensive...but nothing at all redeeming, either. Oh, I guess it goes down easily enough.

An excellent choice as your everyday or secondary beer.

A: Typical dark yellow or light orange. A little darker than everyday American brews. Looks clean. Looks good. Looks inviting.

S: Ingredient scent is slightly to moderately stronger than it's American counterparts.

T: Tastes good and clean. A little more bitter than normal American lagers.

M: Very refreshing. Slightly harsh.

Overall: Excellent for drinking indoors or outdoors in little or large quantities.

A perfectly acceptable, perfectly bland Euro lager without a whole lot of taste. Very pale yellow color, decent head and lace. Crisp and fairly refreshing, with good carbonation, washes down a meal just fine. But why?

A watery body and very little aroma at all. Taste is mild, faintly sweet and malty, with just the smallest touch of grassy bitterness. Slight citrus and vegetal flavors. Fizzy and boring; grainy and often a little skunky as well.

Heavily marketed with Bern Stern photos; obviously trying (and likely succeeding) at making this an “upscale” choice for those who don’t know any better. Skip it.

Poured this European lager from a bottle into a pint glass. This lager poured a slightly hazy pale color, produced a nice white frothy head. Decent retention and decent amount of lacing left behind. The aroma of this lager consisted of sweet malted grain and a afterthought of hops. Light in body, this brew is sweet, dry graininess, and finishes with a bitter broccoli like finish that most european lagers are known for. Decent for a european lager, i have had worse but not something I would ever pay for again.

Had on draft.

Arrived with a thin head and plenty of carbonation bubbles visible in the glass. Color was a medium straw yellow.

Aroma is slightly floral with some grain and yeast.

The flavor is very grainy with some citrus apparent. Lemon in particular. There is also a bit of yeast bite that is not extremely pleasant. Carbonation is high.

Overall it is an ok beer but there are much better Euro pale lagers out there. A nice alternative to BMC though.
