Served in a shaker pint glass.
Pours a very foggy, very dark amber brown with slightly lighter beige highlights. The bright ecru head comes through minimally; some halo-like lacing is created, but fades throughout the drink. The nose is mostly a light syrupy raspberry, with some cocoa powder cluttering the background. The tongue echoes this, with the raspberries leading off and fading slowly, 'til it's diffused into its surroundings. The latter consists mainly of chocolate powder and dark wheat. The body stands at a hefty medium, with moderate carbonation and a smooth texture, though the finish somehow vascillates between dry and moist. Hard to explain, just know that it's not bad. Overall, a decent fruited stout, but nothing to write home about.
