I've been to this place several times over many years, and people seem to rave about it but I think it's highly over rated.

The place has the right things going for it, but it is noisy with tiled walls that make the conversations around you ear splitting loud. Ecspecially when you have a lot of young kids running and screaming around which seems to happen frequently.

The pizzas, stuffed or not, are actually quite bland and flavorless. Heck they don't even drizzle enough olive oil on them... the toppings are ridiculously sparse not to say they have a ton on them, but they should have maybe say... more than TWO leaves of basil huh?

The only good thing were the sumptous pours of table wine in big glasses, nice touch. I don't get this places appeal, I've had better pizza at Pizza Paradiso which I prefer.

As for the beer there are some decent offerings on tap but nothing exceptional, or anything you can't find anywhere else that offers way more variety. In fact I would suggest Pizza Paradiso over this place because I prefer their pizza and they have way more beer to offer.

The beer selection is high quality and comprised of imports. It looks like they did their homework and matched the beers for proper food pairings. There are macros on the list, but the only ones I see are Amstel Light and Moretti. Otherwise, the beer menu was comprised of a good mix of Pilseners, Saisons, Ales, and Weissbiers. Most of which are listed below:

On Draft: 10 taps
Moretti, Tuppers, Old Speckled, Italiano, Del Ducato, Del Borgo, Weihenstephean Hefe Weissbier, St. Feullien

In Bottles: 19-20
Del Ducato, Baladin, Montegioco, Troll, Piccolo, Di Como

I tried the Tuppers - Hop Pocket Ale which was smooth, had a strong hop taste, and easy dry hop aftertaste. Went well with my bresaola, buffalo mozzarella and Gorgonzola cheese appetizer. The bar had the appropriate glassware for each beer as well. My wife had a Weihenstephan in an official Weihenstephan Weissbier glass and I was served my Tuppers in an official Tuppers pint glass.

Service was knowledgeable and courteous. Bartender knew how to pour a good beer. Great place and good Italian eats. Pizza is delicious, brick-oven cooked (Neapolitan certified) and very good menu options. I loved it and will visit again!

First off, the food was pretty reasonable but the beer was a little over priced. 2Amys is a pizzeria that has an open floor plan, tile floors and some pictures on the walls. All the seating is free standing four tops and a couple of spaces at the bar in the back.

If you don't like pizza, don't bother ordering food here.

The beer selection and service is the best thing about this place. there are about 10 beers on draft and about 2x in bottles. The cool thing is that they serve all the beers in the brewery's glassware. Its nothing too rare or special but there is some interesting oddities.

Our waitress was attentive and nice to us. I wonder how quickly their selection changes with respect to beer. I'd go back but I like beer and pizza and I don't know what you are into.

I had been wanting to try this place for quite some time, and I finally made it there on Valentine's Day. It was really crowded for the time that we went - I guess at 3:30 in the afternoon, I wasn't expecting much of a dinner rush. But the place was packed, and we were seated in the back by the bathrooms.

The beer selection was really good. I had a beer (La Trappe D' Or) that is now one of my all-time favorites. The waiter recommended the clam soup (not chowder) and it was absolutely wonderful. A nice, clear broth, with tons of fresh seafood flavor, and fresh vegetables.

The pizza, surprisingly, was just okay. There were two different kinds of Margarita pizza, so we ordered the one that had some sort of certification. The annoying part was that you had to slice it yourself. Apparently, that's how it's done in Italy, but it's not easy to do at a small table in a crowded restaurant.. with the wrong utensils. I'd rank Matchbox, Ella's, Red Rocks, and Comet over this place.

2Amys is a great place. This is not a place to go if your looking for a huge selection of beers, but the beer selection goes well with the food selection. When I visited 2Amys, there was a selection of Italian beers, Dale's Pale Ale on tap, and a few others.

2Amys can get pretty crowded, so try to come at a slow time or give yourself enough time. If you have to wait for a table, you can wait at the small bar area.

The pizza is DOC certified, and is tremendous. 2Amys is probably not a place you would specifically go to for the beer, but the beer selection goes well with the menu.

My biggest complaint about 2Amys is their popularity, unless you go on an off night expect to wait for quite awhile for a table.

I like their concept, serve Italian beers to go with Italian food. Their beer menu almost always has some of the new wave of Italian micros that I have never seen before. I have yet to get a bad bottle or sub-par draft, clearly someone is doing a good job of taking care of the beers. They also generally have a few American micros, although they are never anything to get too excited about.

I have yet to be really impressed by their pizza though. Often the toppings seem a bit too moist, turning the crispy crust soggy. I have yet to try their certified Neapolitan Pizza, but have heard good things about it.

Certainly a worthwhile stop, but I prefer Red Rocks or either Paradiso over it
