This beer debuted today (or maybe yesterday) at Marble Brewery's downtown (main) location.
The beer is served in a goblet/snifter style glass and comes with a healthy two finger head. The beer is blonde with tinges of orange and very much resembles an IPA in appearance. According to Marble, they got a hold of about 150 pounds of peaches from local grocer La Montanita Co-Op and blended these with several sours.

The smell is potently peach, but with wheaty and yeasty characteristics that let you know that this isn't simply a fruit beer. The taste is immediately sour, yet the fruit comes in and provides some balance, making it smooth-drinking and refreshing. The beer is a great combination of sweetness and tartness, as it is neither cloying and syrupy or over the top sour.

I had to bite the bullet and pay around $7 for a couple of servings of this because it was so damn good. Marble has now offered about 5-6 sour beers since I've lived in ABQ (now for about a year and a half) and they've proven that they are adept at producing this style. I wish they'd produce more of this and even think about bottling it. For now, I'll just be grateful for living in Albuquerque and having access to such a great beer.
