Light amberish and dark yellow color beer, 1"+ head, average lacing and retention. Nice color. Aroma was hoppy when fresh, rough malt prominence when aged.

Taste, solid craft ipa, better hop flavor than average. Good alcohol warmth. Moderate amount of caramel, equal parts grapefruit and pine. Average malt sweetness from it. Not super hefty. Bitterness is moderate. A pretty decent and straightforward ipa, there isn't much in the way of complexity, but its not a style that demands it. Its solid B grade, second tier stuff. I'd be a repeat purchaser if it was in my area for $7.99

The first time I had this was like a 6 month old bottle my brother sat on forever as part of our trade.

The march towards incredible beers in cans continues. This beer had the most fragrant hop aroma I have ever experience for a beer in a can. Clean, crisp citrus joy. The flavor was also outstanding. Light yet full of great piney citrus flavor. A very drinkable IPA.

This was sent by GHB, big thanks!! This poured out as a very nice clear yellow color with a decent white head on top. Nice thin retention and lacing. The smell has a very nice fresh hoppy pine aroma. There is a nice grapefruit flavor with a subtle malt sweetness as well. The mouthfeel is smooth, light bodied and drinkable. Overall the beer is very good, worth checking out!

Had this on 2012-12-26 in Columbia, PA

A - Almost-clear amber-orange with a 1-finger offwhite head and good lacing.

S - Wow. Big amount of fresh mango and pineapple followed by some pine and hop bud goodness. My kind of smell for an IPA! Compares favorably to Zombie Dust when freshly poured

T - Orange, pineapple, toasted cracker, pine, reams of orange zest bitterness, which lingers strong, proud and long into the finish. The apparent IBUs are strong in this one.

M - Medium body and carbonation. Very prickly, resinous.

O - An impressive brew. Not balanced though - it leans hard to the bitter side. Would've liked a bit more fruit/malt sweetness to moderate the IBUs.

12 fl oz brown glass bottle with standard pressure cap served into a nonical pint glass in me gaff in high altitude Castle Rock, Colorado. Reviewed live. Expectations are above average given its current ratings. Thanks to Kim and her friend for the share. No visible bottled on or best before date.

Served straight from the refrigerator. Side-poured with standard vigor as no carbonation issues are anticipated.

Not paired with food.

A: Pours a three finger beige colour head of no cream whatsoever, decent thickness, and good retention for the above average ABV. Body colour is a vibrant pale yellow-gold. No yeast particles are visible. No bubble show.

Sm: Fresh floral hops, lemon citrus esters, clean pale malts, and some lemon zest. A refreshing appealing aroma. An above average strength aroma.

T: Delightful floral character, some lemon citrus, and lemon zest twinges over a pale malt foundation. Has sufficient body to support its diverse hop flavours. Clean and refreshing. Only a biteen of hop bitterness emerges on the climax; otherwise it's well balanced. No yeast character comes through. I'd like a bit more hop character and a bit more in terms of malty backbone, but it's built nicely overall. Well put together, if lacking in complexity and subtlety.

Mf: Clean, smooth, wet, refreshing, and adequately thick. Carbonation is a biteen too high. Good palate presence. Slightly oily from the hops.

Dr: A drinkable if simple IPA. Refreshing. Would pair well with spicy food. I'd have another, preferably on draught. I wouldn't go recommending this to friends, but it's a nice little IPA from Marble. Hides its ABV well.

From a bottle to a tulip glass. Swirling white bubbles linger for quite awhile.
Modest carbonation with penetrating mouthfeel.
Wonderful aroma of orange rind, wheat, subtle white pepper and herbs.
Rich flavor of bitter, chalky and grapefruit hops, white and black pepper, soap, piney, a tad tough on the tongue and quite different than their lovely double IPA. Hearth and robust, not for the timid ninney mongering light lager drinker!
April 2013 - Tried again...same results.
