Pours a clear copper color with a big, soapy white head that lingers and laces.

Smells of clean grapefuit and some citrus, some light vegetal quality also comes through.

Taste is up front grapefruit with just a hint of bready malt that goes into a more citrus, stone fruit middle before ending on a bitter, but not astringent, floral/grapefruit/citrus note. Not bad, but it doesn't jump out either.

Medium body with medium carbonation, the alcohol is balanced well.

This is a cascade, grapefruit bomb and a fine DIPA.

Pretty nice DIPA.

In a tulip the beer was a hazy orange color. The voluminous white head resembled whipped cream. There was abundant lace.

Citrus and herbal aroma. Some malt, but not an appreciable amount.

Same thing with the taste. Lots of grapefruit and piney hops, not so much malt.

Definitely a hop-forward DIPA. Medium-bodied, very enjoyable.

22oz bottle. Pours clear yellow gold with a big fluffy white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is tropical fruits and resiny piney hops.

The flavor is sweet caramel malts and tropical fruits with a big resiny piney floral hop finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and a little watery with low carbonation.

Overall, a solid DIPA.

Pale gold color with wispy white head and a fairly thick collar. Good lacing. Aroma is grassy, floral, slight citrus, light malt sweetness. Taste is citrusy, grassy and floral. Nice hop bite on the tongue, pretty dry. Medium body and high carbonation. Not at all a bad brew.

Thanks to jjfoodie for sharing this bottle.

The beer pours a yellowish-gold color with a white head. The aroma is awesome. I get a lot of pine, oranges and papaya. An extremely fruity smelling Double IPA. I also get a little bit of biscuit malt in the aroma.

The flavor is just as nice. I get quite a bit of resinous pine, which mixes nicely with tropical fruit such as pineapple and papaya. The bitterness level is about medium. A very easy drinking Double IPA.

Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Being a big fan of the regular IPA from Marble, I'd been wanting to give this one a shot. I was not disappointed at all! Fantastic color when poured from the bottle and really nice lacing down the glass. Very similar (duh) to the regular IPA, but has a little more kick to it - which is really enjoyable. Maybe I've just had too many of the regular IPA :)
Would definitely like to try this one again. Worth a purchase if you run across it.

Thanks to koufax 21 for sending this beer bottled in July to me. . . in August. A dark yellow beer. Sticky lace from the average white head. Aroma was nice, a little heavy, bitter, good dry hopping.

Taste, well, it was made in July, but still pretty good. We'll see how it goes fresh. But in this state, lots of caramel, heavy bitterness, still a hearty hop presence. Seemed to have a muddled pine and orange julius vibe to it, and very sticky from the age probably.

Bottled 3/9/2012.

Bomber served cold into a pint glass.

Marble's DIPA is a pale golden yellow color with great clarity. The head is thick and long-lasting and leaves some nice lacing as it settles.

Aroma is fresh and hoppy with some citrus, pine, and grapefruit.

Flavor is surprisingly bitter and a big alcohol heat. The malt is mild in flavor and light in color. This is clearly one of those beers that only has malt to have something there to ferment because it's all about the hops. Very big on the grapefruit.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied and nicely carbonated. Unfortunately, the alcohol burns like 10% even though it's only 8%.

Overall a decent DIPA but not one that I would get again.

Apperance: Translucent orange hue. Excellent foam. Looks almost perfect in the goblet at the Santa Fe Tap Room.

Smell: Strong yet subtle grapefruit with some heavy yeast notes.

Taste/Mouthfeel: A delicious IPA. Spiced grapefruit and a thick, almost hef-like mouthfeel. Excellent crispness as well. Near-perfect, if not so.

Overall Drinkability: One of the best IPAs.

Thank you Paul(papollo) for this wonderful brew!

A - Dark copper in color, with a big fluffy white head which dissipates slowly with immeasurable amounts of lacing.

S - Smells of rich pine, woods, and earth. Slight citrus and even slighter malty base. I may be simplifying the description, but in fewer words, it is fantastic.

T/M - Bitter pines and resins mixed with citrus fruits and hints of malty sweetness. Medium in body with a formidable amount of mouth coating for the style and body. Welcomed and refreshing.

D - Simply, It's unfortunate that I have only A bottle.
