This isn't marble's best offering by any means, but it isn't bad either. For reference I just had Sierra Kellerweis the other day which is spicier and a better tasting beer overall than this wheat. But, like all of Marble's beer's, there is obviously some quality in here.
First, with all wheat(especially this one) the suspended yeast really adds to the flavor so make sure to pour 3/4's of the beer, swirl and then top it off.
Smell is powdered sugar and lemon.
Taste is interesting in that it has an Ale backbone... almost as if somebody mixed a fine New Glarus Spotted Cow with an average wheat beer like say Widmer. THe result is average. It's not spicy enough, nor does it have the mouthfeel or banana to make it shine in this style. The lemon is the favored flavor profile here with that ale backbone.
It's very drinkable though.... especially for that lawnmower quality... but hacker or paulaner this is NOT. This is where the wheat beers in this country get iffy... I mean besides dancing man wheat and kellerweis... there just isn't much to choose from... hell, you might be better off heading the grocer and getting a 12 of Blue Moon - twice the beer for the price, and at least you know what you're getting. For this price I can get two bomber's of Schneider-Weisse, and we all know that's a MUCH BETTER value.
A bit too tart and ale'ish, but not a bad beer... their red is great... this is the style that Germany has a stranglehold on... if anybody has some American suggestions that might change my mind - let me know.

Poured a cloudy yellow with a finger and a half fluffy white head that receded to a thin white head that left a fair amount of lacing down the glass. Pretty good looking beer. Scents of honey, floral hops and bubblegum. Nice American Pale Wheat scent. Flavors of doughy wheat, floral hop notes and a light honey-like sweetness. Light, pleasant, easy to drink, but with a nice flavor. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium carbonation, par for the style. Easy to drink. A good American Pale Wheat ale. It has a nice light feel and is great for summer.
