Can from Tin Bucket. Stoked to finally get to try beers from these newer, highly regarded New Mexican brewers. 03/26/2015 is stamped on the can, I'm guessing that's when it was canned.

Strangely light in carbonation, this beer is straw yellow with a thin, white head that falls off quickly. The nose is solid. Bright, snappy, lemony and mildly herbal, this is crisp and refreshing. A faint pils malt character is present. Noticeably hoppy with a pleasing lemony punch, this smells great. The palate opens with a noticeable hop snap, mild mint, plenty of lemon, some lemon oil, hop resin and a touch of dough. The lack of carbonation emphasizes a mildly soapy hop flavor. Drying, bitter and with plenty of lemon on the finish, this is crisp and refreshing. The low carbonation is a touch disappointing, but this is a solid beer.

Picked up a single from Total Wine in early July for $1.99. Received 4/6/14 at TW and it appears the best by date is 4/29/14...shame on me for sleeping on the job!

Beer poured straw with a decent white head that has dissipated pretty quickly.

Nose is pilsner malts and noble hops.

Taste is pretty crisp for an older brew, flavor is a nice biscuity malt base and noble hops bring on a snappy finish.

Mouthfeel is nice, pilsner malts and lager yeast lend a smooth but crisp finish.

Overall despite the age this is a nice pils. I would love to try a fresh version of this! Recommended for lager/pils fans.

Poured a cloudy golden color with abundant carbonation bubbles with two fingers of fluffy white head that receded to a fluffy white cap leaving abundant lacing down the glass. Scents of floral German hops, Graham cracker-like pilsner malt, notes of bready yeastiness and a slight undertone of sulfur. A well executed, very true to style aroma. Taste begins medium-dry with notes of floral, moderately bitter German hops. A faint hint of pilsner malt sweetness is in the background, low-level. Floral hop flavors grow more intense with a high level of hop flavor in the middle and finish with a present, low-level of pilsner malt sweetness. Finish and aftertaste are dry with a floral German hop character. A crisp, refreshing, dry and very true to style flavor profile. Excellently done. Mouthfeel is medium-light bodied with moderate carbonation and a crisp, drying feel. Again, very true to style and quite easy to drink. Overall this is an excellent German pilsner. It is entirely true to style in every respect and is quite refreshing to drink.

Really light pale yellow color with some thin white head that went very quickly. Light malt sweetness in the aroma, with a very faint lemon scent. Lemon carries through to the taste as well, even more than the aroma. Dry, spicey hops with a touch of bitterness. Light body and crisp light carbonation.

Pours a slightly hazy golden color with rather small head. Nose has some herbal, grassy, floral notes. Palate offers a nice bitter snap at the beginning, malt in background, and herbal to floral hops rounding things out. More dry than expected, and also very drinkable and refreshing.

Poured from a 12 ounce can into a pilsner-style glass.

This pilsner has a light golden color and is nearly transparent. The head on the pour is light and fluffy and has good persistence. There is a lot of lacing along the sides of the glass and after each sip.

The smell is mildly sweet, mild floral hops, and subtle, pungent bitterness.

The beer starts off tasting bitter and floral before finishing with a dry, malty sweetness that reminds me of honey.

Overall, the beer is smooth, crisp, balances the bitter aspects with some good sweetness and is very easy-drinking. This beer is a good representation of a pilsner and I recommend it to all visiting New Mexico.

Pours a clear, pale yellow with a frothy white head that leaves chunks of lacing.

Smells of pale malt with a touch of spicy hops.

Tastes of soft malts with a tinge of hops. Malts lead off with some grainy sweetness. Has a slight dryness to it. Hops make a bit of an appearance with some grassy and spicy notes.

Mouth feel is light with an effervescent amount of carbonation.

Overall, this is a nice, light pilsner. I would prefer some more hops, but it is still good as is.

Big white head settles to a bisquity mound in the middle of the glass with a very thin lacing around the edges of the glass above a bright clear light straw golden colored beer.

Light soury lemonish aroma with some light peppery spices adding to it.

Light almost sourish taste with some light malts and even light yeast aspects coming through with this light tasting beer.

Dry aftertaste with sour souring to it and without much distinct tastes adhering to this lighter bodied pils.

Not really enough here to warrant wanting any more of it, I think I'll stick to their IPA.

Thanks to drewone for sharing this one at his tasting.

Pours a hazy light yellow with a foamy off-white head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, and grassy aromas. Taste is much the same with grain and grassy flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is tasty but fairly plain.

This beer pours, from the can, a nice light yellow color with a robust cap of foam. The nose is bread, cracker, and German hops, a peppery earthy blend. Light and nimble as it traverses the palate. The malt deposits its paleness as it goes. More cracker than bread, which is a flip-flop from the aroma. This quickly progresses into grassy, bitter hops. Nothing wrong with this pilsner, but nothing that makes it stand out either.

Described as a Traditional German pilsner. Draft pint at the Marble tap room in Santa Fe, NM.
Arrived clear dull gold with thin white head. Aroma of grassy biscuit green tea. Taste is malt and hops grass. There is a slight sour citrus metal finish. Clean and precise. A good pilsner.

Appearance: This one's decent. Good carbonation, but everything else is just average. Straw yellow, ok lacing, not much foam.

Smell: Very clean. Just some vague hops. Soapy.

Taste/Mouthfeel: Not much here. Some citrus hops on the palate and a clean finish. Good mouthfeel though.

Drinkability: Nothing bad, nothing great, so it's decent overall.

Overall: An ok American pilsener.

In a pint glass this beer was a pale gold color with a small white head.

It had a sweet malt aroma with a kiss of hops.

It tasted just as the aroma promised. Malt with a bit of citrus hops.

Crisp and refreshing, a good beer to have while sitting outside on a porch.

A decent beer, nothing outstanding.
