Pretty quiet on a Thursday night with no game at Fenway. Big warehouse style establishment with little personality. Not much to do except watch the sports televisions. I stopped in for one pint, a very good Back Bay IPA. They had about 15 taps flowing with a good variety of ales including one cask and some specialty beers like pumpkin and "bluebeery ale" (apparently their biggest seller at near 30%!). Barkeep was friendly and informative. Didn't have a chance to try the food. They had a selection of wine available but no liquor license. They also did not appear to offer bottled beer or any other brands beyond their own, but at least there are a good number of choices on tap. They also offered quite a few souvenir shirts, hats and glasses. Worth trying the beer I think but the place itself seemed uninspired to me. I'm sure it is crowded and crazy when the Sox are in town but that may not be an entirely good thing. I look forward to a return trip to sample more of the flavors offered here.

Took my father-in-law and the family here after we toured Fenway Park for Fathers Day weekend festivities. The space was quite large with tables to the side upon entering, tables on the main floor, and a large bar area to one's right. The brewing area is actually wide open on the right side when you enter the space.

Overall atmosphere seemed relaxing and social with a dark paint/industrial design with several televisions adorned across the space. Since it was not a game day, there was plenty of room in this big restaurant, but I imagine its very crowded on game days.

Menu was generally pub-based. Several sandwich and burger options and some pub dinners. I had the Beer Works Turkey Tips, which were pretty good. I enjoyed the large portions and the turkey was nicely marinated and cooked. For drinks, I decided to have the Flight #2, which consisted of the UR IPL, the Deliberation Session IPA, the Contender IPA, and the Hoppy Brown.

Service was quite good. Our waitress was very nice and attentive to our needs. She even helped pick my meal since I was undecided.

Overall, I don't have much experience drinking or socializing near Fenway, but this seemed like a nice place to have a few drinks and eat before, during, or after a game.

Great place to grab beers before a sox game. Gets very crowded and hard to get beer but great selection.

The food is pretty good, the beer is decent. They brew a fairly large variety of beer, but none of it is very exciting.
