i still remember the first time i went to the beerworks. i was in town, of course, for a red sox game. being a beer geek why not go to the brewpub across the street rather than any of the manymany bars around the park. was drinking some variety of pale or ipa and they were brewing. and they they added some hops. it was like the whole place was swimming in hops. all my other memories have been tainted by this one.

this is a nice looking bar right across from the fenway ticket office. that's enough atmosphere for me.

beers is some tasty and of course fresh. with the volume of beer they go through during red sox season that they clean the lines every day.

service is decent. curt but as busy as they are during a game they seem to keep some semblence of composure.

selection is goood. lots of beer. lots of choices.

food is a bit pricey but what you gonna do? fenway franks are even more expensive. (918 characters)

Took my father-in-law and the family here after we toured Fenway Park for Fathers Day weekend festivities. The space was quite large with tables to the side upon entering, tables on the main floor, and a large bar area to one's right. The brewing area is actually wide open on the right side when you enter the space.

Overall atmosphere seemed relaxing and social with a dark paint/industrial design with several televisions adorned across the space. Since it was not a game day, there was plenty of room in this big restaurant, but I imagine its very crowded on game days.

Menu was generally pub-based. Several sandwich and burger options and some pub dinners. I had the Beer Works Turkey Tips, which were pretty good. I enjoyed the large portions and the turkey was nicely marinated and cooked. For drinks, I decided to have the Flight #2, which consisted of the UR IPL, the Deliberation Session IPA, the Contender IPA, and the Hoppy Brown.

Service was quite good. Our waitress was very nice and attentive to our needs. She even helped pick my meal since I was undecided.

Overall, I don't have much experience drinking or socializing near Fenway, but this seemed like a nice place to have a few drinks and eat before, during, or after a game. (1,252 characters)

Great place to grab beers before a sox game. Gets very crowded and hard to get beer but great selection. (104 characters)

The food is pretty good, the beer is decent. They brew a fairly large variety of beer, but none of it is very exciting. (119 characters)

I’ve only been here during Redsox games, but they do a terrific job of moving people through without you feeling rushed. Decent beers, pub type food. The food is all quite good. We have always had a good meal here. Recently my wife was disappointed that they took her favorite sandwich (Green Monstah) off the menu. They told her no problem, they will still make it for her. (381 characters)
