Came in here the day after the Red Sox were eliminated from playoff contention (and then again two days later).

Pretty damn convenient location: right across the street from Fenway Park. The inside is surprisingly nice and modern, and rather large. A smaller bar area right inside the door with the main bar more toward the back.

The staff was fairly friendly (didn't get any Masshole attitude). They also humored my unflappable desire to try every single beer they had on-tap (15 the first time I went).

Quality of the beers ranged from good to below average, though nothing was quite in the White Birch range.

The prices were pretty reasonable, especially for Boston.

Classic place. Very crowded before Sox games, but definitely a better spot than some of the other places around Fenway, which can be tourist trappy. Solid pub food. Prices are decent for a "captive audience" type spot. You'll always find a fun new beer on tap here, too.

Took my father-in-law and the family here after we toured Fenway Park for Fathers Day weekend festivities. The space was quite large with tables to the side upon entering, tables on the main floor, and a large bar area to one's right. The brewing area is actually wide open on the right side when you enter the space.

Overall atmosphere seemed relaxing and social with a dark paint/industrial design with several televisions adorned across the space. Since it was not a game day, there was plenty of room in this big restaurant, but I imagine its very crowded on game days.

Menu was generally pub-based. Several sandwich and burger options and some pub dinners. I had the Beer Works Turkey Tips, which were pretty good. I enjoyed the large portions and the turkey was nicely marinated and cooked. For drinks, I decided to have the Flight #2, which consisted of the UR IPL, the Deliberation Session IPA, the Contender IPA, and the Hoppy Brown.

Service was quite good. Our waitress was very nice and attentive to our needs. She even helped pick my meal since I was undecided.

Overall, I don't have much experience drinking or socializing near Fenway, but this seemed like a nice place to have a few drinks and eat before, during, or after a game.

Great place to grab beers before a sox game. Gets very crowded and hard to get beer but great selection.

The food is pretty good, the beer is decent. They brew a fairly large variety of beer, but none of it is very exciting.
