Cloudy amber with a three fingered cream color head with very good retention. Good amount of lacing. Smell is malty bread dough with a touch of floral hops.
Taste is citrus and piney hops with a big push of bready malts. No idea how old this can might be but the hops have faded in the nose and taste. Seems more like a 35 IBU than 70. Mouthfeel is too little carbonation with a medium body. Finish is long dry and bitter.
Overall a bit underwhelming for a Northwest IPA. I will try this again and hope I can find something a bit more fresh.

$1.69 for a 12oz can at Siciliano's. Brewed with Base Malt, Munich, Vienna, Crystals and carapils. Hopped with Yakima Valley Simcoe, Amarillo and Centennial, then aggressively dry-hopped with Simcoe and Columbus.
OG=1.064, 16 SRM, 70 IBU's, 6.2% ABV.

Pours out to a murky copper, forming a wispy light yellow head with poor retention and good lacing. Carbonation is moderate, ~2.5 carbs. Loads of flittering chunks of yeast/hop debris like someone put a teaspoon of fish flakes in your beer. Pour carefully! Nose has nice notes of grapefruit, pine resin, and mango. Cleanly fermented. Mouthfeel is crisp, clean, a touch of acidity from the hops, mild astringency in the finish, medium bodied. The taste opens with mango, grapefruit, pine resin, sitting on top of a chewy malt body. Well balanced bitterness with some residual crystal malt sweetness, but overall astringent. Nice earl grey tea note in the finish.

A really nice IPA in the can, but considering the copious sediment, it's best drank out of a glass with a careful decant. Kinda defeats the purpose of the can unless you don't mind drinking muck. Nice beer though. Would buy it again.

I got a can of Two Beers Brewing Co.'s Evolutionary IPA from @Another6pack, thanks a lot. I've never had anything from Two Beers before and I'm interested to see how this IPA turns out, so lets see how it goes. No visible canning date. Poured from a 12oz can into a imperial pint glass.

A- The can looks good, it's got a nice outdoor scene on it and it looks likes a beer you should take with you on a camping trip. It poured a hazy copper/orange color that took on more of brighter orange and ruby hue when held to the light with two fingers worth of fluffy off white head that died down to a thin ring that stayed till the end and it left lots of sticky lacing behind. This is a very nice looking beer, I really liked the color and the head and lacing were also good.

S- The aroma starts off with a higher amount of medium sweetness that bordered one being highly sweet and it's followed by the hops being the first to show up and they impart a nice mixture of citrus hops, citrus rinds, slightly soapy, slightly floral and piney hops aromas with the citrus hops and citrus rind aromas seeming to stick out the most. Up next comes the malts which are a little on the light side and they impart some bready, grainy and sweet malt like aromas. This beer had a pretty nice aroma, the malts showed up just enough.

T- The taste seems to be fairly similar to the aroma and it starts off with a slightly higher amount of medium sweetness followed by the hops still being the first to show up and they impart all the aspects that they did in the aroma but this time they seem to be lighter, but they are also pretty even and no soapy hops seem to show up. Up next comes the malts which impart some grainy, bready and slight sweet malt flavors. On the finish there's a higher amount of medium bitterness followed by a citrus rind, hoppy and slightly lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. This was a nice tasting IPA, but I wish the citrus hop and citrus rind aspects came through a little more like they did in the aroma.

M- Fairly smooth, clean, a little crisp, slightly sticky, on the slightly thicker side of being medium bodied with a medium amount of carbonation. The mouthfeel was nice and it worked well with this beer.

Overall I thought this was a nice beer and a slightly above average example of a American IPA, there seemed to be nice balance in the taste and aroma, but the hop profile lacked some of those bright flavors that I expect from a West coast style IPA. This beer had nice drinkability, it was fairly smooth, clean, a little crisp, not too filling and the taste did a decent job at holding my attention, I could drink a couple of these but I really don't have the urge to drink another one in a row, so one might be my limit. What I like the most about this beer was the appearance and aroma, they were the highlights of this beer and I thought it looked really nice. What I liked the least about this beer was that more of those citrus hops and citrus rind flavors didn't come through as much as they did in the aroma, I think a brighter citrus flavor would help this beer out a little. I would buy a single of this if I knew it was really fresh and I would recommend it as a solid IPA. All in I thought this IPA was pretty solid, it's a little far from the best IPA I've had, but it's not where near the worst and I'm happy to have the chance to try. This made for a decent first impression for Two Beers and I'm interested in trying more of their beers. Solid work guys, hopefully I'll stumble across more of your beers.

Can picked up in MI this past week-end. Pours an oily, tawny orange colour with a limited off-white head that disappears quickly but leaves an impressive amount of lacing down all contact surfaces. A very subtle aroma that is more malt-forward than I'd choose and with few of the citrus or floral elements nicely present in the taste. The taste also has good depth. A body including tropical fruit notes with a pepperiness to the finish. Overall a decent but unremarkable APA that I would like to try again, fresh on draught

Even though the can is labeled "Evo IPA" like in the retired section of this brewery, I went to go there and lo and behold it guides me back to this. Ok, well, uh...I guess I'll put this review here, ok... well, here goes:

Into a pint glass:

A: hazy orange somewhat golden brown colored body with a one finger white foamy head that graces the sides of the pint glass nicely in a decent spider web sort of fashion

S: bitter yet somewhat sweet through some floral yet citrusy sort of aromas, how does it combine....hmmm...it actually leaves a bit to be desired

T: mainly sweet through floral citrusy tones, but entering in there's a sort of bitter back end to complement or maybe even balance it to help make it the AIPA it says it is; dry citrus fruity-like aftertaste; just a dry finish

M: light to medium, sessionable - hmm...slightly, carbonation seems just a tad smoother than most AIPA's of what I've had, decent for the style

O: hmmm....wish there was a canning date on this, hmmm....unsure if I'd come back to this, at the moment, I think I'd rather have their session ISA

12 ounce can into pint glass, no canning date. Pours cloudy orange amber color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, orange zest, lemon zest, orange rind, tangerine, pineapple, floral, grass, light pine, light caramel, and floral earthiness. Very nice aromas with bright hop notes and a moderate malt balance; and good strength. Taste of grapefruit, orange zest, lemon zest, tangerine, orange rind, pineapple, floral, grass, light pine, bread, light caramel, and floral earthiness. Moderate earthy floral bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, citrus rind, pineapple, floral, grass, light pine, light caramel, bread, and floral earthiness on the finish for a bit. Very nice balance and complexity of hop flavors; with a moderate malt balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a fairly crisp and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a very nice IPA. All around nice hop flavor balance and complexity with moderate malt balance; and very smooth and crisp to sip on. A very enjoyable offering.
