This beer pours light and bubbly. Has a light aroma of hops and barley, but is hinted by a note of sweets. not much foam, lace or head to note about, and tastes decently sweet for a lager. A very worthy beer indeed. Above average for a lager and not bad.

A: Pours a clear pale yellow in color with significant amounts of active visible carbonation streaming from the bottom of the glass quickly and some faint hints of light golden yellow. The beer has a half finger tall foamy bright white head that reduces to a thick film fairly evenly covering the entire surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Light to moderate aromas of sweet grainy + corn malts with minimal notes of grassy hops.

T: Upfront there is a light to moderate flavor of slightly sweet grain and corn malts with a touch of bready malts. There is also a very light flavor of grassy hops which contribute just a touch of bitterness which fades quickly.

M: Light to medium bodied with slightly more than moderate amounts of carbonation.

O: For the style (Euro Pale Lager where a lot of the beers are forgettable), this is a pretty enjoyable brew and one that I could put down a couple of in a sitting - pairs well with foods such as bison burger.

330ml can. Lager glass. Bright pale gold color, crystal clear appearance. White crown is close but lively & brief. Floral, hay, grainy & sugary aromas. Grainy & sparkling upfront. Light body. High carbonation. Watery texture, spicy palate. Earthy bitter finish. Unbalanced & flat eventhough no-off flavors are shown.

A: Pours a fizzy yellow brew - maybe a hint of amber coming through the glass. Crystal clear. Large head bubbles. Some spotted lacing.

S: Light, airy, lemon aroma.

T: Tastes great for a lager. A nice clean and citrusy taste. Good amount of malting to sweeten up the finish. Not bitter at all.

M: Light and clean.

O: Good lager brew - traditional lager flavor but with some of the citrus it gives it a bit more than your traditional lager. Sessionable.

Moritz pours straw yellow with a decent amount of foam on top. There's a skunky malt aroma with a faint trace of hops. It hits the mouth astringent and there's a fleeting bitter taste bathed in alcohol. Overall, I think it's an average (if not slightly below average) lager from an extraordinary city that doesn't really do as much as it could.
