This store won't win any awards for atmosphere or service, but it sure has a bunch of good brews at reasonable prices.

The wife and I stopped here coming from Cape May, NJ, and riding the ferry across to Delaware. Located on Route 1/Coastal Highway among a bunch of outlet stores and malls, can be hard to find as it is partially hidden by a bank.

Huge store, the beer selection is to the left as you enter. They have some cheap Dogfish by the case and the pack, also locals/regionals like Twin Lakes, 16 Mile, Evolution, Yards, Sly Fox.

A lot of six- and four-packs at room temperature, including Allagash, Weyerbacher, Flying Fish, Schlafly, North Coast and even Mexican craft beer! I bought a pack of Weyerbacher Heresy.

I also spotted Mikkeller Beer Geek Brunch Weasel (cool find) in the singles section.

And that's that. This is not a beer-geek (pun) store, but if you know what you want, it is more than good.

The beer is old and the selection is not very good. Not a big fan most of the ipa are from last year or Christmas time and we are in the middle of the summer. There big bottle selection is not very good as well nothing special or sought after to be found, not even much for evolution or mispillion or anything local but dogfish.

I don't know how I forgot to ever check this place out, probably cause it's on the edge of Lewes and not in the nearby greater Rehoboth area. It is definitely a place I will have to stop by more often.

I really like the layout of the store. Lots of LIGHT! Boom! I can SEE IN HERE! It is very much like the other kind of outlet stores, but it is well organized as well. It's really easy to see the items and look around.

Bomber selections are fairly good, but could be a little more diverse, and there is not a lot of foreign or Belgian items. However, there were still some good surprising finds in here when I visited. Some of the special new stone releases were here, and there was a bottle of Boon Gueuze which was a nice find.

Service was actually very attentive and helpful, I got good vibes from the floor staff, to the manager (some young Indian guy). I will be returning.

I actually drove by this place the first time by. After a legal U-turn I found Cape Wine and Spirits hidden in the corner of a strip mall.

The store is well laid out and very brightly lit. The beer (6 packs) is located in a cooler to the left of the store. The rest (cases, warm six-packs, and big bottles) is located in the back of the store. The selection is laid out very nicely and is organized in a neat manner. Speaking of selection there was a wide variety; Southern Tier, Troegs, Victory, RJ Rockers, 16 Mile, Evolution, Old Dominion, Hebrew, Brooklyn, Abita. The Southern Tier selection was abundant.

Here's my problem with Cape Wine and Spirits...while perusing through the shelves I found a lot of beers that were past their prime. Here are some of the notables found out of date...Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout (6 packs, now I know the older the better, but it should still be sold out by now), Troegs Dead Reckoning, Southern Tier Harvest, Victory Moonglow, just to name a few. And we aren't talking one six pack, more like almost an entire case.

The service was very nice. I was asked twice if I needed any help finding anything. Needless to say, I didn't purchase anything because I was put off by the number of "off" seasonals still on the shelves.

I frequent Cape Wine and Spirits, it is one of my go to shops for beer. The store is very clean and bright with probably half of the store devoted to wine, a few aisles for liquor, and two aisles in the back for beer along with a cold case along a side wall.

The selection is good for the area and rivals Atlantic liquors a mile down the street. Usually the two have the same items, but on occasion one will get something that the other does not. Cape has a good selection of DFH, Evolution, 16 mile, Victory, and Troegs as well other brands that are distributed nationally. They have two stands for some singles and bigger bottles including DFH, Southern Tier, Rogue, Hebrew, Stone, and others. There is also a sizeable amount of Belgian imports.

What I like about Cape is the staff. Everyone is friendly and very helpful. The prices are pretty good, probably a little high, but I equate that to being in a resort area.

I was able to check out Cape Wine a couple times in the time I was in Rehoboth. The place is really well layed out and the shelves are very organized, the store is well lit, clean and the place is well stocked.

The selection is probably the best in the area, but not overwhelmingly so. They have a few beers you may not find at Atlantic liquors or Outlet Liquors like He'Brew Rejewvenator and Mokah by Southern Tier. They have over 60 selections on the floor in cases, sixers and singles. There are long coolers which also contain singles, sixers and 12 packs at least 75 choices including BMC.

The value is pretty reasonable, but I indicated pricey since everything was at least 50 cents to a dollar more than other area stores. They are within range on many items and I consider them to competitive overall.

Service is where Cape Wine and Spirits shines, they seem genuinely interested in you satisfaction. The rep that helped me checked on the Blue Hen Vodka I inquired about and was very helpful even though it was out of stock. They are friendly and I was satisfied with my purchase. I found that the fact they stock many English, Belgian and craft choices that others don't gives them a slight edge I recommend Cape 1st.

Quality of the store is good and the selection is better than average. Service is top notch. I have yet to go to this store and not have at least 1 employee ask to assist me, usually 2 employees will stop to check on me.

The selection includes your standard offerings but I always stop in here for DFH. They carry plenty of their beers including cases of their 750ml offerings. There's no purchase limit here unlike at the brewpub or brewery. The prices are actually comparable to buying direct from DFH.

My biggest complaint about Cape Wine and Spirits is the lack of a case discount for 750ml bottles. Case discount is only applied to cases of wine but the prices are still way better than I've seen in NJ or PA.

I visited this place last weekend while I was down in Rehoboth Beach (visiting the DFH and getting some Thrashers fries).. I stopped in after seeing its rating here on beerfly but I was a bit disappointed. The selection is certainly better than just BMC garbage, but there wasn't really any good finds... I was hoping maybe to find some good, rare DFH stuff considering the proximity to the brewery and brewpub. I could definitely find a lot of stuff to get, but it was only the usual suspects, nothing I couldn't find at any other decent place. Also, my girlfriend and I found it quite annoying that she was asked to show her ID to, like, 3 different employees.. I understand that theres some strict law for the state, but it became annoying after the first time.. I followed my beer sense and decided to stop in to Atlantic Liquors and found some better stuff (DFG Immort Ale a few days before it was even to be for sale by the brewery!)
