A very tasty brew. Plenty of grain, lots of malt, caramel, gently bitter hop finish. Fruity, bready aroma.
Deep clear gold, big head that settles to a substantial ring, some spotty lace.
Enjoyed this for the flavour and aroma. Has some character, not just another anonymous APL.

Pretty average lager, nothing special...wheaty nose with a grassy taste. Pours transparent yellow

Here is a perfect example of the worst flavours in lager. This beer has some decent hops on board and nice esters, but the nasty creamed corn and rancid butter notes are appalling. The beer would be more aptly named in my opinion as Railway City Canada Orville Reddenbacher. Yuck.

473ml Can from the Ottawa LCBO for $3
Appearance - Clear gold colour with an average size white coloured head. There is an average amount of carbonation showing and there is some fair lacing. The head lasted for around 3-4 minutes before it was gone.
Smell - Malts, hops, grass, grains/bread
Taste & Mouth - There is an average amount of carbonation and I can taste malts, caramel, and hops. There is also some breads/grains and some grassy notes and corn.
Overall - Delivers as advertised.. pretty crisp and refreshing. Not a remarkable beer but still pretty tasty and very sessionable. Given the ABV this would make a great beer to drink all day long while at the cottage etc.
