I went into this place on a quiet Sunday afternoon and it took me a second to realize just how incredible the beer selection was. Now, if you come from Portland you might think this was an OK selction but honestly for BC this is outstanding. The owner actually drives to the island to pick up kegs from Longwood, Craig St, Spinnakers, Swans, Phillips. They also have Mt Begbie, Tin Whistle, Mission Springs, Old Yale, Steamworks, Yaletown, Crannog, R&B, Howe Sound, Tree, Rogue,Fat Cat, Lighthouse and other rotating taps. The bottle list quite extensive though all of them can be found at better Private Stores.
The food was great with large portions and fresh local ingredients.(I had an burrito). The service is friendly and helpfull. I hear it gets quite busy on Friday and Saturday nights but the always changing beer selection makes this a must stop in Vancouver. (If you are not visiting Victoria you will find many Island beers on tap>)
