I had forgotten how good this store was until I was driving by and decided to see what they had. Without a doubt the best store in the north central CT area. Table and Vine has more, but everything at Joe's is top notch. Domestics galore, top of the line nationals, and imports I have not seen anywhere else. There is an area where you can get six packs or singles. But the "beer cave" is the best. A small room adjacent to the coolers where lots of bombers (or larger) are kept cold and ready to go.

I am planning on entering several more stores from the Enfield area, but of all of them, none top Joe's. There isn't even a major sign with the name of the place, it's in a very small strip mall with an auction house, and there is no way you'd be able to tell what they have without going in. Let's hope I can get the picture uploaded, because if you are in the area you NEED to go there. Just down the road from Broad Brook Brewing Company. (952 characters)

Joe's Fine Wine and Spirits is the yardstick by which I judge other retailers. Not only is their selection one of the best in the region, but also the resources they dedicate to all of their stock. Not only is their storage meticulously planned out, but they also make it a point to refrigerate the majority of beers. For IPA fanatics such as myself, it's comforting to know that the beer I buy here has been properly stored to ensure the best possible freshness. After traveling far and wide in search of exotic beers, I've found this is rarely ever the case.

Another great selling point is the staff. Everybody is kind and prepared to offer well-informed recommendations of all beer, wines and liquors. Leslie, the owner, is a great guy and nothing short of a valued community resource.

If you're ever in the area of East Windsor, CT and in need of refreshment, look no further than Leslie's shop. (902 characters)

WOW, what a gold mine. I live in the enfield area and I've been scouring NW CT for a decent liquor store so that I don't have to go into MA all the time. This place IS IT. Not quite the equal of the monstrous Table and Vine in MA but this place has a fantastic selection. The amazing thing is they have almost everything refrigerated too. The walk in frig houses some awesome rare and aged specialities.
The prices are fair for most and great for others. The staff is very friendly, knowledgable and helpful, especially the owner Leslie. If you're in NW CT this is the only place to find great craft beer. (605 characters)

This store has recently been expanded and remodeled. The owner, Leslie, and the staff are trying to build a destination store for the area, and they are well on their way to doing so. They are always on the lookout for new items and are open to all suggestions. Check out the progress as they continue to fill in the new space. The new cooler even includes a walk-in section for many higher end and other big bottle selections. They carry many of the usual suspects, as well as Schneider, Ballast Point, Brooklyn and more to come. (530 characters)
