On tap at the Falls Church location.

Pours a clear yellow gold with a finger of foamy brite-white head. A sturdy retention leaves a nice smattering of lace behind. The aroma is light bready Pils malts, sweet smelling citrus character, light floral hops, and a surprising amount of yeasty notes.

The taste is tight Pils malts with some underlying citrus character and a tingling hop profile that runs through the middle and finishes very dry and slightly bitter. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with a firm creaminess and a fairly crisp feel.

A decent Pils with a surprisingly sweet nature that fortunately, didn't detract from either the hop presence or crisp nature of this. This pint went down pretty well.

A-Clear gold yellow with a white head that quickly faded. Minimal lacing.

S- A light waft of grassy noble hops maybe some sweetness of malt...maybe.

T-Sweet maltiness...isnt this supposed to be a German style pils? Where is the sharp bite of noble hops...this one is quite dull.

M-Light and very thin...does not for me...kinda like drinking sweet seltzer.

D-This one is a just a "beer". Fine to just drink one...but I would not choose to do so again. Prima Pils, Pikeland Pils....you have nothing to worry about!

This pilsner is a clear, yellow color (thus the name?) with a bright white head. There is plenty of bitterness and toasted malt in the aroma. The mouthfeel is dry and the crisp hoppiness is present, but let me down by finishing with lingering grassiness rather than a crisp hops.

Sampled from a take home growler in a pint glass.

Appearance: Crystal clear yellow topped by a small stark white head. Quickly recedes to a layer of foam and leaves wisps and fingers of lacing.

Smell: Bright and snappy grassy noble hops with a hint of light malts.

Taste: Slightly sweet pale malts with a kiss of noble hops on the finish. Quite nice and lovely.

Mouthfeel: Light and sassy. Very crisp. Little aftertastes.

Drinkability: More subdued than Prima Pils or Hop Pocket Pils overall (and especially in the hop department). Still, it's a decently hoppy beer for a pilsener. A great summer beer.

Bright yellow-gold with a full white head (under a vigorous pour) but low carbonation. Noticeable earthy/citrus hop aroma looms large but not from Cascades. Smells like hop pellets straight from the vacuum pack .. wonder if this is Norther Brewers or Tettnang ? Nice fresh hoppiness without being too bitter. Light bodied, crisp, clean, and refreshing with a dry finish.

Note: This review was based on the growler version from Merrifield, VA.
