I stopped in Taco Mac Metropolis on my last night of a three-day trip to ATL. I had a feeling what I was in for but decided to go based on the reviews here on BA. I was sorry almost immediately that I was swayed by these reviews.

The place is a huge, loud, and rather dirty sports bar filled on a Tuesday night with fratboys, their girlfriends, and older dudes who probably weren't in frats but now want people to think they were.

I've never been impressed with beer bars with excessively large numbers of taps. There's really no way a place like that can keep their hoppy beers fresh and are unlikely to be able to keep all of those taplines cleaned. While I can't speak to the latter issue, I was right about fresh IPAs or lack thereof. I ordered a Founders Red's Rye and a Sweetwater IPA and didn't finish either one because the hops had faded and they were malty messes.

And given it's called Taco Mac, I ordered simple beef tacos --- they were terrible. The soft flour tortillas were oversteamed and the taco meat with grimy. Gross.

Two pints and two tacos set me back $19 before tax and tip. Not bad.

I would never encourage a BA to go to this place. Spend the extra time and head out to Decatur and hit up the Brick Store Pub and Leon's Full Service for great beer and food.

Taco Mac is a good stop for most anyone that likes beer. They have decent (not impressive) food and a rather large selection of beer, however the beer snob might be a bit disappointed. A portion of their offerings are mediocre, but they definitely have some high quality brews for the more selective types - just don't expect to find anything too exotic/rare.

The wait staff are what you'd expect from an average sports bar, that is rather slow and not so beer-savvy (and prone to making numerous errors in terms of giving you the wrong beer/glassware or not even giving you a glass with your $8 beer), but friendly nonetheless. For a beer snob, a good place to go if you're with a group of people who aren't as snobby or just want to have a couple drinks, but not the best place to expand your horizons or talk about beer with the staff (or other patrons) from what I could tell.

As always in TacoMac ...really broad selection in both Draft and bottle, a bit hard to get parking in this area, but that is the nature of the beast.
The wings are good, burgers are ok as well, know that you wont get fancy food like some of hte other restaurants in the area, and another great positive they close their kitchen really late and it has saved me several times while on business trips.
The service in this location its rather bad, slow and they can defenitely do a better job on this, but on the bright side, the beer, not much to add other than their beer selection is really great , they have a bit of everything and anything you might think, they might not have super rare beers but they manage to have almost one or two of most beer styles, a good amount of local brews, always some founders, great divide, green flash, etc. as well as some international options.

The wife and I were going to Empire State South (a fine restaurant!) and guess what, there is a massive Taco Mac right across the street! My first Taco ever... Inside it looks like any suburban chain restaurant, but the long, serpent-like bar is plenty cool.

140 taps! Great Divide Yeti, Dragon's Milk, Trobadour, Boulevard Nommo and Tank, Green Flash Friendship and a bunch of local/regional brews (French Broad, Duck Rabbit, Red Brick, O'Dempseys, Red Hare).

The place was empty on a weekday at lunchtime during Christmas, but the bartender looked hurried and overwhelmed, and it takes time to get a beer. Here I learned that service is the Achilles' heel of all Taco Mac locations!

The ambience is blah and bland, the food is mediocre but goes well with beer (queso and salsa).

Come for the beer only! The selection is damn good indeed.

I have been to many different Taco Macs throughout the Atlanta area. I will say this is the first one that I have had absolutely no desire to go back to. Our waiter was an absolute moron, and the service was extremely slow. Myself and my party waited about 10 minutes for each beer that we ordered (3) when the place was nearly empty. One of my beers came to me wrong, warm and awful. At the end of my time in this hell hole, we asked for our checks to be split, they came to us in pairs, with orders STILL on the wrong ticket. On top of this, I had to ASK for my brewniversity card back and he couldn't tell us which one it was. So a member of my party had to tell him how to do his job and find out which card was mine (no my name wasn't on it, but I have never had a problem with it before.) Throughout this process the waiter didn't say sorry for the wait or anything to try and make our experience any better.

Thank you "Taco Mac Metropolis," you have made me never come back to your store. I will spend my hard earned dollar elsewhere.

I absolutely love Taco Mac. I usually go to the one in Kennesaw, and finally got a chance to go to the one in Midtown after a Braves game one night. The selection of beer is great, with no shortage of beers to try. the food is also quite delicious. I also love the atmosphere of a sports bar, as I love being able to watch multiple games at one time of different sports. I would suggest going to Taco Mac to anyone who enjoys good beer and enjoys trying new beers, as well as those who just enjoy sitting at the bar talking sports with friends and or random strangers over a beer.

Corey makes great points, all true. But those things that he dislikes about Taco Mac Metropolis, are actually the reasons why I love this place. Like him, I've probably had most of what's on the list, but I am always able to find something new that I haven't had. I am a Brewniversity member having almost 300 different beers at Taco Mac.

As for the wait staff. It's true their beer knowledge is likely limited to what light beer they'll be drinking that night to get drunk. But I don't go to taco Mac to get my information about beer from my server. I want the beer to do the talking. Every since I first chose a beer off the massive beer list, all I expected was the adventure of trying something new, knowing very well that I could hate the beer equally as much as I could love my new found favorite.

Taco Mac Metropolis has become the place where my old fraternity brothers and their spouses and girlfriends reunite for Georgia Tech games, or when we are all in town. Taco Mac has everything to offer us: excellent beer selection, including many Atlanta and Georgia brewers; great bar food (I always get the hot buffalo wings!); and a great atmosphere to watch sports and hang with the locals. I like that I can always be myself and be with my friends at Taco Mac, and not really worry about much else. I like that I don't have to worry about the service or the quality of food and drink. Taco Mac, at every location, continues to deliver for me. I will be a lifelong customer, lover, and advocate for this restaurant and bar.

Taco Mac Metropolis...an odd place in Midtown with a great beer selection, but not much more.

The atmosphere here is very unimpressive. I feel like I'm in some sort of a mix between a diner, a sports bar, and a night club. I really dislike it.

The beers are generally served in incorrect glassware (unless standard pint glass is appropriate), but the beers here are generally fresh (though I haven't really tried my luck with many bottled/canned IPAs - a true test for me).

The service here is not bad for a restaurant, but not good for a beer bar. The bartenders generally have some beer knowledge, but the servers generally have very little.

The beer selection is pretty decent. They have A LOT of beer, but much of it is mediocre/standard. I have a hard time picking out beers here because I've generally had everything. For a sports bar, the selection is very good, though.

I actually find the food quite decent at Taco Mac. It's not the interesting, well crafted dishes of Brick Store, but it's good for chain bar food.

The prices are actually quite high. Some drafts can go for nearly $10, which you will not see at the other craft beer bars in Atlanta.

This place is "strictly commercial" but with a huge number of taps and pretty good food so they get it right. I saw stuff here like "Mojo Rising" Double IPA (Best IPA ever) that is rare on tap on the East Coast. This location is near GA Tech so there are a large number of students here. That could be a good or bad thing depending what you are into. I think there are quite a few different locations for Taco Mac in Atlanta so there are different atmospheres to choose from. I also went to the location near the stadium that I enjoyed quite a bit.

As a Georgia Tech student, I really wish there was a typical local dive bar in walking distance that was popular with students, like most colleges in America. The problem is, you have to drive to get to them in Decatur, Virginia Highlands, or Little 5. I have flocked to the Taco Mac for reasons from friends' 21st birthdays to having a session with a couple friends during Pint Night, so I have had a lot of experience at this place.

The atmosphere is nice and clean, although the din of well over a hundred people in there at any time makes it less bearable than your typical Applebees or TGIF. Speaking of those chained restaurants, Taco Mac has that commercial feel, but is pardoned due to its dedication to beer and sports. The servers are hit or miss with beer knowledge, some are just students paying bills, and some are full of beer knowledge and will advise anybody and are usually pretty good at it. The food is alright, but probably not worth the price paid. Again, it resembles what you would get at an Applebee's type place. Now on to the beer.

Suckered into a Taco Mac Brewniversity card, I have tried to hack at it with the massive selection at this establishment. The major downside to Taco Mac is its price. You can go to most any regular person's bar outside of a city and pay much less (and probably get it in the correct glasses too) but you aren't paying for the beer at Taco Mac, you're paying for availability. The choice is what you are paying for, which works for most curious beer lovers like myself. It is a nice place to go with a large group of friends for special occasions, but not a place for the average joe to go have a pint, especially not in the price range for college students. The best times for a normal visit is during Thursdays to get the beer of the month and getting the pint glass of that company. Definitely worth the higher price.

This is my go to establishment for getting drunk with friends. It's located within easy staggering distance of Georgia Tech campus, and the selection of beers is excellent. It's a great place for discovering new beers with friends. Food isn't out of this world, but is very tasty, if slightly pricey. Beer is somewhat more reasonably priced.

Waitstaff is friendly but can't always answer questions about beer well and is often confused when you order a beer with a long German name. Waitstaff will refuse to serve you a pitcher if you are by yourself, but has no problem serving two pitchers to two people, for some reason.

Atmosphere leaves something to be desired, especially on game nights: loud, crowded, hard to hear your own thoughts sometimes.

Not perfect, and significantly less classy than I like, but the selection is unbeatable and it really is one of my favorite places in the area to go drinking.

This is my favorite Taco Mac. The bar is like from a 1960's movie of what the future would look like in the 21st century. The seating area is large, open and on two tiers. I rarely rate bathrooms, but these are always very clean.

The food is just average bar food. There are a couple of things I enjoy, but I am here for the beer selection.

Beer selection. HUGE. They often have cask events which is what I usually attend.

The service is spotty, but they do have some knowledge of the beer.

Parking can be an issue so I just pay the $2 in the deck.

Good old Taco Mac. Never been to this location but I have been to many Taco Macs since I was a kid. We would meet family at some Taco Macs when I was a kid, to get together and have some fun.

This Taco Mac is very nice and open inside with the bar along the back up a few steps. Kind of a nice sports bar type feel to it. For most people the wall of Taps is an attention grabber and will be the largest selection most people will ever see on tap in one place. The taps range from a couple standards to a many limited releases and exceptional beers.

The bartenders were very nice and helpful. Seemed to have a basic knowledge of beer but they are not going to wow you as BJCP candidates. But they did appear to be trying to understand the different varieties so that they could give suggestions to customers.

The food is bar food, but I like it. I am a fan of their wings, but wings are like pizza and BBQ, everyone has their own opinion.

The Coney Island Blockhead was there promoting the beer and that was interesting to meet him and some of the reps from Coney Island Lagers.

Is this a cozy little beer cafe, no. Is this a nice bar with a great tap selection, yes. Taco Mac has come a long way over the years and they still have a great focus on craft beer. While it may seem like a chain to most, which it is, but it is a local chain and I will stop in whenever I'm near by.

All things considered a great place with a great selection for a place in the Southeast. This location is new and cool. I first frequented it just after it opened last year and try to hit it any time near Atlanta. I think over 100 taps and twice as many bottles. Cool little 'passport' club to join with accumulated credits for future brew purchases. The only negative was some stale product but if that what it takes to have some selection down here, no problem. Lots of screens, large table seating area, and 'lagoon-like-shaped' bar spanning the width of the space with a little elevation to the tables. Seem to be an immediate popular watering hole. Sat next to a 'roadie' trucker hauling rock bands. I doubt any other establishment in the SE has this selection. A great place.

I find Taco Mac to be one of the more over-hyped restaurants/bars in Atlanta. This particular location is exceptionally disappointing. Yes this place has hundreds of beers, so it's not the worst place to be dragged to by friends. However, I think a place that prides themselves in their beer selection would also try to have a staff that has even a vague knowledge of different types of beers. The staff here is completely clueless. If you know exactly what you're looking for, this isn't too bad of a place to go; however, if you want to try something new, do NOT come here looking for a recommendation. Not only are the servers clueless when it comes to beer, they are also quite slow when it comes to bringing that beer that you ordered 20 minutes ago. Also, Taco Mac's beers of the month are apparently comprised of just the worst beers they can get in a keg for that particular month. To sum up, I extremely dislike Taco Mac.

When you walk in it seems a bit angular and shiny for a beer bar, but you still feel invited in. There are a lot of large-screen TVs, which make this an ideal place to catch a sporting event, such as the Super Bowl. The servers are well-trained and alert, and even when the place is busy they make sure that you receive attention. Food is better than the average bar food - maybe not gourmet, but still quite toothsome. They have a good variety of appetizers and sandwiches.

Their beer selection is just plain awesome. Not only do they have over 100 beers on-tap, but there are hundreds of different bottles, mainly craft brews and imports. In addition, you can join the Taco Mac Passport for free to keep track of the different beers you have tried, rather like the Passport Club at the Summits Wayside Taverns. Just a couple blocks from the Midtown MARTA station, this is a great place to meet with friends for a game, or just to chat and enjoy good beer.

Well I ended my great trip to Atlanta on 2009/02/07 with a visit to this location of Taco Mac. It was the perfect ending to a great day. This location claims 140 beers on drought and 375 beers in the bottle. I obviously couldn't try them all but would really love to. I stuck with the drought selection. I had a Stone IPA and an Avery Maharajah IPA. I also had some hot wings, chips and salsa, and some some of my chum's chicken nachos. The food was better than I expected and had just the right level of spiciness to it. Think of this Taco Mac as a combination of Chilli's, Applebees, and Buffalo Wild Wings but with a 1000% better beer selection and tastier food. Can't wait to visit again.

This Taco Mac location is just a block away from my condo, so it serves as my home base for a beer and easy dinner. I believe the number of taps stays around 140, complimented by a very extensive bottle selection. I typically stick to beers on tap, but the taps are rotated often enough that I never run out of great options. With the exception of BSP and maybe the Porter in L5P, the selection of craft beer at TM is unparalleled in Atlanta.

The highlights of this Taco Mac are the special beer events. Rare cask-conditioned beers are hand-drawn once or twice per month. The Stone release celebration last year was incredible, as they had 12 incredible Stone brews on tap for the first time in Georgia, including some very rare offerings.

Food is consistently good, but not great. Service is hit-or-miss, and sometimes I seem to know about new or special kegs before the wait staff does, but only because i'm there once or twice a week. The bartenders are very knowledgeable and willingly give tasters or advice if you need help deciding.

The only slight complaint I have is the price - I think the prices tend to be on the high side. Though some beers are fairly priced, I would guess most beers are around $1 or sometimes $2 more than other spots around town. But, it is worth the premium to me considering its proximity and selection.

This TM does a great job of bringing in many unique beers, seasonal or limited releases that you might not find elsewhere in town. Overall, it's a great place to grab a beer after work, or a dinner before the game. Highly recommended from this local.

This place was the highlight as far as beer is concerned for my trip to HOT-LANTA. Me and my friends left Vortex and headed approximately 20 yards to Taco-mac for a few more great beers. We decided to sit at the bar - what a weird shape by the way.

The bartenders were very knowledgeable - particularly the woman but I cannot remember her name. She was good looking and had a great beer IQ. She recommended a Bourbon Barrel Porter that I also cannot remember but it was delicious.

I had many great beers and I confess I did not respect beer that night as I drank until I was nearly sick - but not quite. I did eat a plate of hotwings that were decent but not great.

The beer selection was very impressive and extremely fresh. They let me try about 8 different beers in tasting glasses - I didn't even have to ask after the 3rd one. What a great place to spend an evening.

I ended up not drinking but the second night in town, but I will definately be back to this location. Highly recommneded!!!

Visited this week for the first time, and it changed my opinion of Taco Mac (and thus made the rest look bad!).. even though I believe there is room for improvement

First off, I really dig the location. We were able to park within walking distance to Taco Mac and the Vortex, two of my fav midtown spots. The interior is a nice change from the typical Taco Mac decor that I am used to. A lot more modern looking. We sat in the dining area, so I didn't get to really check out the bar, but I was impressed by the wall of taps that puts the rest of the locations to shame

The draft selection is not only large but impressive to a BA as well. The ratio of macro beers to quality craft beers is the best I have ever seen at a TM. Pretty much all the locals that are currently available were offered - Terrapin and Sweetwater from GA, Highland and Duck Rabbit from NC etc. Lots of Stone, Lagunitas, Left Hand, Ommegang, Heavy Seas and most of the typical major American crafts you see in Atlanta. The best part to me was the selection of Belgians - St Bernardus 12, Houblon Chouffe, Delirium Tremens, Lindemens Framboise etc etc. Another sweet bonus was the vintage drafts available - 07 Duck Rabbit Barleywine and 08 Sweetwater Donkey Punch were both available along side the latest releases of each (vintage Oak-Aged Yeti had just run out) As for the bottle list? Not quite Brick Store, but probably the 2nd best in Atlanta after them. 300+ deep and lots of options I've never seen at Taco Mac.

I do wonder how well the beer turns over here. Neither I nor my friend had any issues with freshness, but I really hope that all that selection doesn't result in a lot of stale beer. Its in a good location to turn over quickly though.

As for service, food service was good for us, drinks took a bit of time to get from the bar to the lower dining area. I might expect that when busy, but the place was MAYBE at 50% of its capacity.Bar service has been pretty hit or miss too - depends on who's working. Our server earned some points when he was able to recommend beers similar to the Sweetwater Creeper that my buddy ordered. The value was a mixed bag. I only paid $4.50 for the vintage Duck Rabbit barleywine on draft -- the same price as this years; and then there was the Schlenkerla rauch bottles for $14.50 -- three times the average retail cost in Atlanta! (another bar in town charges about $8/bottle) I try to stick to draft at Taco Mac for that reason.

Food? eh.. its Taco Mac. I'm not the biggest fan in the world, and there are only a few things on the menu I really like, so they can get old quick.

This is not what I'm used to in Taco Mac! The beer lineup makes up for any shortfalls in the service and the generic food, and thus I have a new favorite Taco Mac, and probably the best place in midtown.

Stopped in during a recent business trip for some late-night food and drink. My first Taco Mac, so I didn't know what I'd find. Overall a great experience and much better than I expected.

Sports bar atmosphere with finger foods. Some of the best buffalo wings I've had in the south (I'm from upstate NY). They were open until 2am including the kitchen.

Beer selection was extensive, especially for the south, over 100 taps and 200+ bottles, mostly US micros. A great selection overall, with very reasonable prices.

Service was friendly and helpful, but not necessarily knowledgeable at first. Once my servers realized I was a beer guy, the manager stopped by for some in-depth beer talk, along with a few shares from under the counter. We spent the next two hours sharing craft beer experiences and learning from each other.

Definitely worth a stop, especially if you are in mid-town. These guys have a great thing going and are eager to grow and expand their offerings. I look forward to my next trip to ATL to see how they are doing.

This is easily the best Taco Mac location (with the Decatur branch coming in second). It's a little sterile modern glass/metal/wood combo, but not too bad. Tons of TVs all over. 140 taps, and 300+ bottles. As this is a newer location, it's hard to tell if they'll move the taps fast enough to keep things from getting stale. It seems they might actually succeed at this location, given the excellent midtown placement right on Peachtree that keeps things hopping. I've never seen this place empty. Servers don't really know much about beer, but they're friendly and willing to ask to find out. Bartenders seem on top of things. I have not seen frozen glasses here, as others have complained about. In fact, my Duck Rabbit Barleywine was served up in a snifter/tulip. Food is the standard Taco Mac fare... fried bar food and so-so burritos.

I stopped here after dinner at Vortex, and found Taco Mac much more to my liking. There were about 100 taps, filled with solid selections (Stone, Duck Rabbit, Ommegang, Terrapin, Sweetwater, Dogfish Head, etc). Prices were variable, some cheap and some too pricey. I went for the Duck Rabbit Baltic Porter (only $4) followed by Ommegang Chocolate Stout ($8.95). Why such a big difference in price? The atmosphere is basically BW3 style, a more or less classic sports bar with wings. I recommend a visit here over Vortex if you only have time for 1 stop.

Went here for the first time for the Stone release.

Atmosphere is a sports bar like any other Taco Mac, although this one seems classier somehow. There are tons of TV's, two tiers of seating and a pretty good sized bar.

Quality is good. All of the high gravity beers I ordered were served in miniature snifters, and none of them were chilled..

Service was good. The bartenders were real excited about the release and were very friendly. Additionally, the pours were done pretty well.

Selection at this Taco Mac is better than the ones at Lindbergh or Highlands. It seemed like there was more emphasis on more uncommon beers than Lindbergh, and of course the selection was much greater than the one in the Highlands.

Food was solid as always at Taco Mac. Nothing spectacular but I always know what to expect.

The prices were very reasonable, and it was cool that they had 8 oz. sample sizes for the release, although they may always have them.

Overall I think that this is my favorite location so far. It just seems a step up from the others.

Went for the Stone release, but have been to several other T.C.'s before.
Pretty urban feel. Lots of sleek lines, painted wood and brushed metals. Raised bar over the regular seating area. A little loud, but the crowded bar may have had added to the noise.
Service was quite good. Our server took good care of us and made well-reasoned remarks on the beer. I did see some beers in chilled glasses, but the Stones were not served this way, thank goodness.
Selection overall was about the same as most of the other T.C.'s. And prices seemed pretty much in line with other locations as well, despite the expensive location. Of course, the Stone release contributed to the heightened idea of the good selection.
Menu is the same as all the other locations. We only had chips and salsa, but I can assume the other food is on the same level as elsewhere.
Beer and food was all reasonably priced. 6-9 8oz. beers plus chips and salsa was only about $30, so I felt we got a good value. Lots of food items under $10.
This is probably the best T.C. location I have been to and will be returning. If you are in town, skip the original Virginia-Highland location, which is only about 1-1/2 to 2 miles away, and go here. You will be glad you did.

November '08 Update: If you go at lunch on a weekday, sit at the bar if you can. My wife and I sat at a table and ordered beers. Took over 15 min. to get them and the manager removed them from the bill. Apparently, the bartender wasn't used to pouring beer at lunch and forgot about our order. Service score lowered accordingly.

If you're lookiing for a sports bar/beer bar combo, this might be the best spot in metro Atlanta.

140 tpas and 280 bottles advertised but I didn't bother to count for myself. Admittedly, about half of the selection is crap but that still leaves about 70 taps of good craft beer. I got a Dogfish 60 Min that tasted fresh.

Staff was decent. Again don't look for a lot of beer knowledge from the servers. But our waitress did bring me some malt vinegar for my fries without batting an eye, a request that usually gets me odd looks and requires extra explanation here in Atlanta.

Food is standard bar fare and not bad at all. If you're looking for lighter fare, check out the wraps.

This would be a fantastic place to watch the game while enjoying a few quality brews.

A: When comparing it to the other Taco Macs, the atmosphere is very much improved. This location is only one I have been to with an industrial feel. The rest are all pretty similar with a dark wood interior. The booths and tables still have the walnut stained wood, but the overall appearance is much different from their typical store. The natural light in this location is better than most with the large floor to ceiling windows on two sides.

Q: The frozen glasses are a big issue with all the Taco Mac locations, but I didn't have issues when asking my waitress to use a room temp glass. The beer tasted great, but it is a new location so I can't speak to how well the lines will stay clean with all those taps. The menu, is the same as all Taco Mac locations.

Serv: The wait staff, although they know nothing about beer, was very courteous and prompt. I will not drop their score for not having beer knowledge since most of their employees would likely not be able to afford a lot of the beer they sell at this location.

Sel: If you are coming into Atlanta and want a huge selection of good beer to choose from, this is by far the best location to go of all the Taco Macs. The last time I went to this location, all of the following beers were on tap that are rated higher than 3.75 on this website. St Bernardus Prior Abt 12, Great Divide Oaked Aged Yeti Stout, North Coast Old Rasputin Imperial, Dogfish Head, 90 Min IPA, Dogfish Head Palo Santo Marron, Hennepin Farmhouse Ale, Avery Maharaja, Allagash Tripel Reserve, Sierra Nevada Bigfoot, Saison Dupont, Weihenstephaner Dunkel Weiss, Lagunitas Hop Stoopid, Oskar Blues Gordon, Paulaner Hefeweissen, Flying Dog Gonzo Imperial, Sierra Nevada Torpedo Ale, Harviestoun Old Engine Oil, He'brew R.I.P.A, Rogue Hazelnut Brown, Sweetwater IPA, Allagash White, Terrapin Rye Squared, Victory Prima Pils, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Flying Dog Double Dog, Heavy Seas Loose Cannon, Allagash Black, Avery Collaboration not Litigation, Lindeman's Framboise, Bridgeport IPA, Oskar Blues Dale's Pale Ale, Terrapin Rye Pale Ale, Victory Sunrise Wheat, Allagash Dubbel Reserve, Rogue Dead Guy Ale, Hoegaarden, Highland Oatmeal Porter, Avery IPA, Spaten Optimator, North Coast Pranqster, Duck-Rabbit Barley Wine, Heavy Seas Small Craft Warning, Kulmbacher Pilsner, Rogue Imperial Red, Lagunitas Censored, Highland Gaelic Ale, Sierra Nevada ESB, North Coast Brother Thelonius, Samuel Adams Lager, Anchor Steam, Brooklyn Lager, Sweetwater Festive Ale, Ommegang White, Left Hand Milk Stout, Victory Golden Monkey Tripel, Lagunitas IPA, Spaten Mai Bock, Well's Bombadier, Lagunitas Lumpy Gravy

Those are just the higher ranked ones, they have 140 taps and a lot more bottles. I would give it a 5 if BrickStore wasn't in town. Even though they have a great list, the real specialty brews are not common here.

Food: The food is the standard Taco Mac selection. If you want anything better than standard pub food you need to look elsewhere. I usually get a chicken wrap to avoid the more greasy items on the menu.

V: Some of the beers are over priced, but they are pretty rare to find on tap. The abundance of 11oz drafts made be choose the higher $ amount. The food is inexpensive, but you get what you pay for.

First off the selection is outstanding and not what you would expect from a sports bar. They boast "130 beers on tap," but when I was there they had about 75 with another 75 or so bottles. I started with a left hand milk stout and moved on to the Hop Devil. Both served in pint glasses as were all selections. All domestic beers are the same price so don't think you're going here and getting a $2 Pabst, it's $6.75 so you mineaswell go with a decent artisan brew. If you are in the Phillips Arena/CNN Center/Convention Center area, this is your best bet.
