This store has moved from the rotary near union station to 730 West Boylston Street
Worcester, MA 01606. They are doing their damnedest to reach out to Craft Beer nerds. They don't have a big enough space to be Julios but they are curating their selection to provide some hard to find beers as well as all the normal craft beer standbys(stone, DFH, Great Divide, Southern Tier, North Coast) and local stuff (Jacks Abby, Pretty Things, Mystic). At any given time you can find Dieu Du Ciel (including Peche Mortel at the moment) Stillwater, Evil Twin, Alesmith (speedway), Jolly Pumpkin, De Ranke, De Struise, Mikkeller, De Proef, Haandbryggeriet, you get the idea. They update their facebook regularly to let you know when the new and fresh beers have arrived. Fresh Dirtwolf recently.

Been going here for a while now, located by the roundabout at Union Station. Would go here more often but unfortunately I work during the day. This place does regular tasting events, be they beer, wine, or other. Nice big selection of wine and tobacco. Their beer selection is quite good. Lots of your "run of the mill" stuff (ie: DFH, Southern Tier, Bruery, etc). I was able to find, however, some brews that I havent seen at Julio's in quite some time. I landed multiple bottles of Peche Mortel, two bottles of Black Orchard, Brewdog's Tokyo*, Baird's Mikan Ale, La Roja, Old Rasputin, and some extremely fresh DFH 90 minute. Keep in mind, this place also does the 15% off 6 craft brews.
Very nice selection of bottles that I cant seem to find at other spots in Worcester. Its no Julio's, but its a great supplementary to Julio's. Check it out.

I stopped by KJ Baaron's on Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised. This place is located right across from the Union Station bus/train station and pretty easy to find.
I found the place to be very clean and organized. The woman working there was friendly and asked if I needed any assistance. She also told me that the if you mix any 6 craft beers (regardless of size) you get 15% off, which is a pretty good deal.
Craft beer options during my visit included Founders, Stone, Dogfish Head, Smuttynose (including the IPA & Robust Porter), Opa Opa, Wachusett (5 different kinds), Lagunitas, Flying Dog and Southern Tier. Nice selection of Belgian brews too like Rochefort, St. Bernardus and Delerium Tremens & Nocturnum.
In addition to their respectable craft beer selection, they have a diverse selection of liquors, speciality foods, cheeses and wine. Worth stopping by if in the area. I ended up dropping $35 without even trying.

Not a substitute for a place like Julio's by any means, but has a pretty decent selection for a store not focusing on craft beer. Good selection of Southern Tier, Stone, Dogfish Head, Founders, Unibroue, St. Bernardus, the Rocheforts, etc. Since it is a small place you can usually find unintentionally aged treasures. 2 days ago I picked up two '08 Double Bastards for $7 each, last year I also found some '08 Southern Tier stuff for cheap (Oat, Choklat). The prices are actually not bad overall for a smaller place too. Lots of times they are cheaper than Table & Vine and Julio's. Just gotta check the dates on things, lots of bottles collecting dust. The staff won't be much help here but that's okay. Nothing worth going out of the way for, but I'll pop in every now and then.

I've driven past this place a lot and I finally decided to stop in today to check them out. The selection was small but decent. I picked up a 4 pack of Harpoon Leviathan and a 22oz Stone Smoked Porter. They also had Founders, Smuttynose, Anchor, and a small, but fairly comprehensive selection of Belgians. The refrigerated beer section was filled with macros, so they are definitely appealing to that crowd. If I lived closer to the store I would probably stop by again. However, there are more interesting places in Worcester with much larger selections of beer.
