If you want to start the beer revolution this is the place to begin. Tucked away in the cellar of a building, actually it was more like the first floor since it was above ground, it was like going into a beer cave. Tremendous atmosphere, nice music and the employees are all very friendly, helpful and know their beer along with the proper glass to serve it. They all are very happy and you can tell truly enjoy what they are doing.
Very nice selection beer and I'd guess slightly over 20 on tap.
Food selection is limited to cheese and meat plates, however, they were nice plates that paired with the beer.
If there is a better bier cafe in the U.S., than this one, please direct me to it, because THe Novare Res Bier Cafe tops my list.

Amazing list of rotating taps with events every month or two. Even better is the bottle selection, with multiple vintages of hard to find beer including Cantillon and other European brews. A must-visit.

You don't come here for the food, and that's okay, mostly small plates. Their tap list is always interesting, very Belgian leaning. Their bottle list, especially their rare stuff, is what excites me. Always something interesting and new to try!

While a little difficult to find using GPS, once you get to Novare Res you're going to be their a while.

They have the nicest bottle list I saw on my trip to Maine and a fantastic tap selection as well. The food is also fantastic, the cheese plate was my personal favorite but I also had the roast beef sandwich which was worth it.

Our server seemed very knowledgable in the beers and suggested a couple nice beers.

We were seated in the outside area which was very nice I'm always a fan of the communal tables in the summers. The inside area was worth checking out with a large bar and enough seating on the inside.

The pricing seemed a little expensive. But nothing outrageous and in my belief I think it was totally worthwhile.
