Stopped by UJs OCH on our second leg of the night before Thanksgiving tour. We visited this right after UJs at Manatawny.
A: Small place with a small bar area. Still it was well lit and cheery inside, just small. Nice people at the bar, great bartender.
Q: Excellent, great taps for such a small place, but hey it is the little brother of Manatawny.
S: Excellent, our bartender was very knowledgeable and was very efficient. Very good experience, he took care of us.
S: Excellent again with a great tap and bottle selection. West Coast IPA on draft, locals like Victory and Brooklyn. Bottle selection was fabulous too as you could look right into the coolers and see the selection. West coast beers, Belgians, Germans, locals everything.
F: Did not try, the kitchen was closed.
V: Good value for beer for what we paid.
Overall a real nice quaint little bar I wish was a bit closer so I could frequent it more. Very enjoyable, very homey.

Had dinner and beers here with some friends, sat out on the deck. Nice pleasant country outdoor atmosphere, shaded by big trees overhead. We didn't even get wet when it started to drizzle rain. The waitress was friendly, although not overly attentive.
Tap list was nice, about a dozen beers of both local and west coast craft breweries. heavy on the IPAs.
Food was good, they have a big selection of chicken wing flavors, we had some sweet adn spicy Thai that were very tasty. Burger and sweet potato fries were well done too.
recommend if you're out in that area.

This place is in the middle of nowhere but definitely worth the visit! We stopped by with friends to kill some time before a wedding reception. What a find in the area when so many of the other places serve the standard Budweiser and Coors.
You need to go Saturday for lunch and get the prime rib sandwich (if they haven't run out). Everyone who has tried this has loved it. The one server, Denise, is the best. She is very knowledgeable and even if you are not sure what you like, she can steer you in the right direction. She introduced me to the Duchess (thank you!!). Denise is sometimes behind the bar but the owner is also very knowledgeable and both are great. This place has many regulars.
My husband are there almost every week and can't wait to see what they have on tap and by the bottle. They have a really nice variety of domestic and international beers. Their specialty wing sauces and burgers are worth getting.
Note - the kitchen only does 'fryer' items after 9pm and closes at 9:30pm. We've called in for 'dine-in' to make sure we have food waiting for us if we won't get there before 9pm. The staff knows we do this on a regular basis and is awesome about this. Also, they only accept cash but a mac machine is available.
I am looking forward to the new deck that they just built out back, it will be awesome when the weather is nice again.

A great place to go regardless of the occasion! Good food, knowledgeable and friendly staff, plus everchanging food specials and beer menu. Will often make special requests!
My family and I go once a week and have tried just about everything on the menu plus most of the specials with NO complaints! The wait staff is very friendly, often making great food and beer suggestions. Union Jacks is known for their wings and like all their other locations, these wings are exceptional. Soups are all homemade and excellent. My daughter is a huge fan of their chicken finger meal and sweet potato fries.
Plenty of beer to choose from either on tap or in the bottle - all styles are represented!

Located literally in the middle of nowhere is the olde Congo Hotel, an 18th century inn that claims that "George Washington never slept here". It is odd to find a place like this in this immediate area, surrounded by farmfields and woods. Nonetheless, its an 8-minute drive for me! The inn itself has a main bar area and a separate dining area. Rumor has it that the inn is also haunted! Never extremely busy, I'd love to keep this place a secret. The staff here are beer advocates and very knowledgable on the available beers, which include a good mix of locals and imports. Recent selections on tap have included Russian River Damnation and Green Flash IPA. Proper glassware is provided and service is prompt. The food menu is a little on the short side, but good. I have found prices to be a little pricy, but largely in line with suburban Philly rates.
Overall, I'm pleased to have this little place so close to me!
